Played the Resort Course on 4/29. Could very well be the best value for the buck in the desert. The course goes out about 2.5 miles and then back. Good choice of tee boxes to challenge any level. More grass than many desert courses, so it can be a bit more forgiving for off the fairway hits. Considering the flat terrain, they did an outstanding job of shaping and bringing in water. Great staff and facilities.

The Resort Course at Tahquitz Creek is one of the better values in the Palm Springs area. The layout is great with some challenging holes but it doesn't beat you up.

The Resort Course at Tahquitz Creek is one of the better values in the Palm Springs area. The layout is great with some challenging holes but it doesn't beat you up.

The scenery and landscaping are great and the course is in very good shape. My only gripes are that the greens are a touch slower than I like and a few of the tee boxes aren't level.

Customer service is outstanding and they include breakfast and lunch when you play...the ribs were excellent. The pace of play was good and I recommend the Resort Course to both locals and visitors. The Coachella Valley resident rate is a very good value!

Drove out for the day from Pasadena (1.5 hrs. each way) and had a blast. This course for $79.00 on the internet is a great deal. Had fun and shot 78.

Played Resort Course 1/9/09. Greens rolled fine, nice and quick although lots of ball marks. Lots of casual water and muddy areas on fairways. Sign up for the email specials as it is the high season in PS. Played for $44 including breakfast and lunch.

PLAYED 8/9/08: Yes the greens areas were half dead, the problem is they continue to put the cups in the deaden areas instead of the greener areas. Don't know how they do it but the rest of the course... Continue »

PLAYED 8/9/08: Yes the greens areas were half dead, the problem is they continue to put the cups in the deaden areas instead of the greener areas. Don't know how they do it but the rest of the course was dampened and very green. THIS WAS DONE WITHOUT SEEING A SPRINKELER ON ALL OVER THE PLACE. The staff and service is top notch, great job folks.

The Resort is in fantastic shape - tees, fairways, and greens are all running clean and smooth, no major brown spots or excessive divoting on the greens. One complaint is 17 - it is a stupid gimick h... Continue »

The Resort is in fantastic shape - tees, fairways, and greens are all running clean and smooth, no major brown spots or excessive divoting on the greens. One complaint is 17 - it is a stupid gimick hole, completely out of place on the course. Staff is mostly locals who have been there a while and they are fantastic, they just love the game and that makes it enjoyable. The pace of play could be accelerated, but it generally plays under 4 hours.

Played 2/22/08, drove out for the day. 1.5 hrs from Pasadena and worth the drive. Course and staff an A Plus and the price $69.00 before 7:30 including breakfast and lunch (e-mail special). All my playing partner keep saying was what a deal! We will make the drive again.
