Played on 5/6. First time playing this course after reading about it in Golf Digest. This is definitely a MUST play course. Everything about the course was excellent -- tee boxes, fairways, and especially the greens. The layout was nice with great use of dog legs. only problem we had was nothing at the turn...you just keep on playing so be sure to pack enough snacks -- or if you can, get the lunch buffet special with your tee time and you can pack a lunch to bring on the course. also, a very windy course -- the whole front 9 and a couple holes on the back had wind in our faces.

Course is in great shape! Greens are rolling true.

I throughly enjoy this course. I played in November. The course was in excellent shape. The staff was very friendly from meeting me at my car to cleaning my clubs and equipment after my round.

I thought the course was in great shape, a bit challaging with some hidden greens. Some well placed sand and true greens.

If you're in the area consider this a must play. It's a great value and a lot of fun.

We got the all-you-can-play pass for the Resort/Legend courses, June - September, $300. We don't mind the heat but in the morning, until about 10:30, there are so many mites or gnats in the air, from the dry riverbed, that it's very unpleasant to play. We're going to experiment with some new insect repellant this weekend and see how that works. In the afternoon, as long as it doesn't go over 105, this is a gorgeous course. In the winter, when the river is flowing through it, it's one of the prettiest courses anywhere, but even in the summer when it's hot and quiet and you're surrounded by the mountains, it's awe inspiring.

The weather was a lot cooler than normal for September so I went out to see how many holes I could play. I got in 54. The course was in good shape for the price. The lunch included with the GolfExtra play-all-day deal is a couple of steps down from Mickey D's, and the clubhouse is showing its age. The staff was friendly and there was no problem with pace of play, since there weren't many people out. A good day of golf, but there is nothing really memorable about the course.

With the "all you can play" deal they offer, this course is a pretty good bargain. The course was in better shape than I anticipated. The greens had just been punched so it was bumpy out there. The fairways are holding up pretty well under the heat. There are not to many thin spots out there. I have played this course 2-3 times this summer, and I always try to tee off by 6:30am. I can usually finish 36 holes by 12:30. It is hot, and it is a long drive, but if you have the time, you can play 36 holes in a very short time.

Played the resort course and loved it. We played on the weekend all day for the $32.50 and got 36 holes in. The heat wasn't too bad with the little wind coming around occasionally. The front nine is easy enough with wide fairways but the back gets a little tight. The greens started off holding fairly well and were slow (seems like they had just watered when we started), but they got harder and faster the second round. There is quite a bit of water on the front, but it really only comes into play on a couple of holes. The staff were great and the food between rounds was good also. We will definitely be back soon. I want to play the other course soon too!

THE COURSE HERE IS GREAT FROM TEE BOX TO GREEN. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS COURSE, I WILL PLAY THIS COURSE AGAIN. THERE IS ALOT OF WATER THROUGHOUT THIS COURSE. SO YOU DO HAVE TO PLAN YOUR SHOTS, BEFORE YOU EXECUTE ON SEVERAL HOLES, READ YOUR SCORE CARD AND KNOW YOUR SHOT.

Played the Resort course as a walk on single, 7:30 AM, $39 to ride on Tuesday 06-22. Offered the Legends course at $25 to ride and I am not sure I got my extra $14 bucks worth. The course played very consistent and nice from tee to green. All fairway lies were perfect and most of the rough was exactly the same. All greens rolled at the same speeds and were very true. The course configuration offers some fun water holes and some interesting risk/reward desert holes. Yet, for the same conditions and not that much worse of a layout, I'd recommend spending the extra 1/2 an hour to play the Legends course. Still, a great deal for Palm Springs.
