Played on Nov. 2nd mid morning. Not a lot of people playing, but round still took over 5 hours. As always the front nine is a little gimmicky, but the back nine makes up for it. Due to overseeding, fairways have still not been cut, so extremely long grass. Remainder of course is in good shape except for tee boxes. Majority are not level and in bad shape. The girl in the pro shop was very nice and made me feel welcome. Overall the course is fun to play and once the fairways are cut down, I will be back.

Played here on a Saturday in between storms and the course payed well. The problem was that the facilities just did not seem to have its act together. We had a 12:51 tee time, a little late, but not too late since the clocks were rolling back the next day. Well, they were backed up about 30 minutes because they did not have enough carts. We were sitting around with a bunch of other golfers waiting for other groups to finish so we could go out. The group in front of us then had 3 carts die on them for lack of charge. Pace of play started out great because they were sending out a group every 10 minutes or so, but soon we were backed up with the group 2 in front of us playing really slow. I saw the beverage cart 2-3 times, but never a marshall. Thankfully they bailed at twilight, and the group in front of us bailed on 17, so my buddy and I played 18 in near darkness. Thankfully that was the one hole where I hit all my shots straight, so I could just follow the flight as a dark spot against the dimly lit sky. As soon as the ball started coming down, it was lost in the dark mountain backdrop. At no point did anyone offer anything in compensation for the 30 minute delay.

The course was in decent shape, not too much water from the previous day's rain. A few muddy and wet areas, but that was to be expected. The layout is nice, with some target golf and some holes fairly wide open with parallel fairways. A rangefinder or GPS is very helpful, as there were several holes where there was serious trouble right at my driver length, so I sacrificed a few yards to play safe with my 3 wood. The carts don't have GPS or coolers, so bring your own for both.

The greens were still recovering from being punched, but they were in decent shape, except for the ball marks. Too many golfers just don't see the need to repair the greens, which is a real shame.

Actually I thought the course in general was very good. Staff is always very pleasant accomodating. The more I play here, the more I enjoy this course.

Played at 9am on Saturday morning. Made the reservation late Friday night. $59 was full price and included a sleeve of ProV's. Two young girls running the shop were great. Bev cart girl very nice and came by often. Needs to know when and where to stop.

Carts here are trashed. Lots of damage on every cart. Ours quit on #14. Saw staff taking carts out all day. Staff who brought a good cart out was pretty rude. Slamming equipment and making noise while we were trying to putt.

Most of the tee boxes were pretty uneven. Fairways and bunkers were fine. Greens pretty slow and furry.

When we finished there were 20 players standing around waiting for carts. Worth the green fee despite the cart issues. Played in about 4.5 hours.

Played at 1115. Was let out 30 ahead of our tee time. Greens were speedy and course was in good shape. Many folks do not fix fairway or green divots. Front 9 is pretty flat and back nine has many elevation changes. Traps were in fair shape. Tee boxes were average at best. Golfnow rate of 23 bucks for 4.5 hr round was good deal.

Played 9-17-11. Got out early but it was drizzly and wet so may have effected the conditions more than I realize. This is a course where course knowledge would make a huge difference. Many time found myself looking at a shot where I had little to no idea where I was going. Hard to hit a shot with any confidence when your not sure what lies ahead. Lost a few balls to OB's I could not see.
This course is very challenging. Some narrow tee shots to test your accuracy. At least one hole I found to be a bit unfair. Water on right but huge trees to left. Not much room unless you can hit a draw. Then the fairway slopes right to the water. Balls that land in the fairway are at risk of ending up in the water. Hit a perfect shot that ran past the water but rolled down and into the rough.
Had read in the reviews that people do not fix ball marks on the greens here. It's true. Every green had multiple ball marks. I must have fixed 4 on every hole and that was a small percentage.
I would like to play this course again to see how different it would be with some course knowledge.

Played 9/17 at 8:30am in a drizzle. First time here. This is a beautiful track that hasn't been given it's due. Carts are old and dont' even have windshields. Pro shop is a trailer. Aside from that the course is a good course. Beautifully maintained. Everything was lush and well groomed. Greens a little slow due to being wet. Players here DO NOT fix their ball marks. (course might want to do some more education that way) The layout is VERY challenging. Lots of elevation changes and doglegs, plenty of hazards too. Greens are large and very undulating. The challenge here is more fair than penalizing so makes for an enjoyable round. Course knowledge shaves strokes for sure! Can't wait to play here again.
