This course is great! Challenging layout, fast greens, consistent bunkers... In overall great condition. I don't know why more people aren't playing this course, but they should! Worth the drive.

Played on 1/28 after a morning round on the Legends, a $5.00 rate for the second 18 can not be beat. As with Legends this is a first rate course, challenging and fair. Though both courses have same rating and slope, Champions just seems about 2-3 strokes easier. I think it is the bunkering around the greens on Legends that make the difference. Played front 9 in about 2-2.5 hours, following groups playing their first 18 holes due to frost delay. At hole 10 course was empty and we played the back nine in about 1.5 hours, taking our time and playing more than one shot sometimes. Great day for golf and played 36 holes for the price of 18 anywhere else. Great promotion, course, customer service, and staff.

It's only a matter of time before more people start finding this place. I think it could become a destination course where golfers from all over the country seek it out - especially at these prices. For $65 I got to play two immaculate golf courses (They have this $5 replay rate that is out of this world). Really there wasn't anything visibly wrong with them. The fairways were pure the greens were smooth. There are a lot of homes going up around the golf courses (looks like hundreds if not thousands), but they really don't come into play. It just tells me that this little secret of a golf course isn't going to be a secret for much longer.
I didn't event mention the staff who all seem to be wearing smiles on their faces - I've never been to a happier golf course or been treated better and I've played golf all around the country. No one treats you better than they do at the PGA.
The turnaround at this place is remarkable. It's a 100x the golf experience at the Trump course at about 25% of the price.

I cannot say enough about this course. It is astronomical. The price is right, the course is very challenging and it is in immaculate condition.
It is windy some days, but for the most part, I found that Champions keeps me focused and is very fun to play.
The beverage girl was very accomodating and the staff was very knowledgeable.
I love this track, it is awesome.

Played PGA SOCAL Champions and Legends for first time 11/5 and 11/6. I can't say enough great things about these courses. I've been to Sherwood Country Club and I never thought I would see another course so greatly manicured (especially not a public course). Boy was I wrong! Both Champions and Legends were immaculate. Not only was the grass lush and green (greener than green), but everything was cut just right. Fairways were cut low, rough was about 3.5 inches, bunkers were in great shape and the greens were perfect. Oh not to forget...An $80 weekend green fee is dirt cheap for courses of such calibur. I live more than 80 miles away, but I'm definitely considering playing either of these courses at least once a month. Hats off to two great public courses.
