ALERT: Aeration
Historically the Champions Course aerates their greens in April and the Legends Course aerates their greens in May. Connecting to the proshop for exact dates has been an extremely frustrating experience at many times of the day. We'll continue to make attempts. More information to come.
* Although Greenskeeper.org researches all alerts before posting, we ask that you please contact the golf course for confirmation.

The golf course is starting the renovation process of the bunkers. They will be adding new sand, repairing animal damage, and redefining the edges.

Although this course seems a long way from anywhere, it was worth the drive. The Champions course is currently undergoing some construction of new houses, but is still in great shape. This course has ... Continue »

They've started to address the problems with the sand described by previous commenters. Considering how many bunkers there are (about 70, I'd guess), it could take a while to do the whole course, but... Continue »

Showed up as a single today and got right out. I thought the course was in excellent condition with exception to the sand traps. I’m not happy about the home construction. The course will never be the... Continue »

The course is overwatered in my opinion. The fairways are soaked and easily damaged by carts and equipment. The constuction is an ongoing, neverending eyesore. When will they, at least, clean up the a... Continue »

I have played this course several times and I think it is a great course; however, there are so many problems that make the golfing experience less enjoyable. I played with a scratch handicap player t... Continue »

I played both the Legends and Champions courses today. The Champions has become a major disappointment due to the endless construction of over 4000 new homes that will surround and choke the course. T... Continue »

Too much building construction going on. The course was great except the sand/rock/gravel traps. The greens were the best I've seen there in a long while. Still worth the drive out to Beaumont.

Played on 6/4 and the place was in perfect condition. Some fairways had some patch jobs but nothing to interfere with the scoring. Greens were smooth and fast as usual. This is a great place to pla... Continue »

Played on Thurs 6/9. The place was empty! I played by myself starting at 7:45am. The patchwork quilt fairways was a new look for me--there must be 3 or 4 different kinds of grass. I read that in s... Continue »
