Played 2/10/09. Got on with the birdie card from Roger Dunn for $35 w/cart. Good course, but because of the rain and standing water, it was cart path only. They also had a frost delay that caused everyone to start late (0920). The sand traps were pretty packed in due to the recent rain. Rough pretty much non-existant, faiway and rough almost the same length. Greens were a little bumpy but they rolled o.k. Customer service was very accommodating. The South course is usually has a back-up if you don't have a tee time, but you can get on the North course without a problem.

Yesterday was an absolutely gorgeous day to take an afternoon off and play a round at Los Serranos (North). Overall, the course is in good shape. There are some tee boxes with problem areas, and the greens seem to be inconsistent between being fast and slow, but the shorter track is a nice ego boost for those of us who rarely hit the green in regulation. Customer service was awesome, and the pace of play was good--4.5 hours for a round that started at 12:30pm. I'll be back.

Played Sun 01/25 with email special. I do like both South & North courses but the green fees are bit high to play here regularly. Fairways are in great shape. Found few wet areas. Greens are good with couple of holes bit bumpy. Speeds are medium to fast. Difficult down hill putts. Try to avoid down hill putts. Better short than long on most of the greens. This course is pretty much wide open. Do have many bunkers guarding the fairways and the greens. Hole #16 has the signature Bristish pot bunkers protecting the green. You have to go into this particular bunker and try your bunker shots. It's fun! I would consider this course hilly course. Tee boxes are so so. Few of them were very wet and muddy due to the rain. Need more sands in the bunkers. Were very thin on all the bunkers I went in. Overall great course to play. Staffs are good. Love the foods in the club house.

Played here with the boss today 1.4.2009 with 1022 tee time. Very friendly staffs. We were sandwiched between two foursomes and the one in front were a bit slower than the one behind us which made us a little bit uncomfortable. However, once the 1st foursome let us through, it was great. Fairway was a bit thin but overall great shape in this time of the year. Greens were very challenging. We had a great time and will definitely return again.

Played here on 12-30 10:00am, very busy and stacked up real quick on #2 Tee but after the first few holes it opened up a bit. The course is in fair shape it is kikuya and it is pretty thin. The greens were tough to figure out they were lightning fast coming downhill, and bumpy as all get out. tough to get anything to stay on line. Tee boxes were a bit chewed up. and fairways still a little wet, so not a lot of roll. But it is a short course.

Played yesterday, Dec. 29th. Started off on bad note with poor pro-shop attitude when they decided not to honor the coupons we received via email from THEM. Finally got that straightened out after some 'discussions'. While we were filling our paperwork for the carts, I asked if keys were in the carts. The guy snapped at me that he'll give me the info after the paperwork is done. I just couldn't believe the power-trip with this guy. Anyways, got that done and were off to the starter box. While we were waiting to tee off, the starter informed us that a walk-on will be joining our 4some to make our group a 5some. I guy in the pro-shop that we dealt with had added the walk-on with us even though there weren't any other 5somes out as we could see. We objected, apologized to the walk-on that already paid, and after more 'discussions' the walk-on went back to the office. I haven't experience this type of poor service in a long time from any pro-shops.

Now for the course. Decent condition with fairways seeded recently. Greens were true but on the slow side from what we remembered here. Don't play here often and after the bad customer service experience, will not be back for a while. I keep getting coupons from them so they must need the business. I can safely assume the reason most people stay away would be due to the personnel there. It all starts with service.

Played Christmas Eve @7:30. Course was in great shape, especially the greens. No frost, no rain delays. For a wet morning, the greens rolled fast and true. A couple of approach shots even plugged on the green. Apparently, some patrons were spooked by the reports of possible rain, so there were many cancellations. It was a great day of no pressure play and we finished in four hours.
