Love this course! Played it on 9/30 in absolutely perfect weather conditions. It's been a year since I played here and it is just as good as I remember. Extremely fast greens that don't hold, but they are very true and smooth as glass. Fairways are a little thin in spots, especially on the front. You must play the front of the green on every hole if you want to stay on. I think the layout is excellent and the staff was very friendly.

Played this morning 7:30 single, two guys walking in front of me that waived me through by the 5th hole. Had the rest of the course to my self, Beautiful day on the central coast. I have played here several times since it has opened and I have to say that the conditions right now are incredible. This course is coming in very well, greens are always gonna be hard and fast but thats ok with the links style golf here. The fairways are very lush and the native grass and rough are making this course look and feel like your in Scotland. Cant say how happy I am to see the conditions here improve each month. I would recommend playing fairly early to avoid the wind that whips up around here. Nice staff, all around very good.

played sun 7/15. what a beautiful, easy on the eyes, course. was a tough course, greens were moderately fast and smooth, and impossible to read. definitely need some local knowledge if playing for the first time, in terms of landing areas and green approaches. steady 10-15 mph wind. 1st hole is a monster right off the bat. i don't think i could play this course often... kinda hard... would wear me out. but it's gorgeous and in great shape.

Played the course for the first time on 6/8. The greens were down right un fair (apparently a 10 put was recorded) but it was a thrill (all pin locations were simalar to the open). We called to play there at 3pm and were told to come on down, when we got there we were told we couldnt play the owner was having a private golf tournament@ 5:30. The person in the shope was very rude and seemed bothered by our presence (apparently he feels they have all the buisness they need). Finally he let us out and told us to be finished with #7 by 5:00 or we would have to skip to #10. Well we finshed 9 by 5:00 and headed into the pro shop Via the resturaunt and the same person said "we're closed, turned off the lights, locked the door and left us in the dark to head back to the resturaunt. Other than that the marshalls were great and very freindly so was the staff in the resturaunt. This is for sure a course to play but bring an extra putter, you may wear out your first.

This is a strong track that will benefit from another 3-4 years of maturing. Its youth is currently its achilles heel, but nothing some sunlight and a few months of warmer weather wouldn't cure. There was no wind when I played, but suspect tackling from the tips in a 10-15 mph breeze would have a dramatic impact. The greens are simply devilish. Unfortunately for me, it took 3 doubles on the front to realize that you can't fire at most pins unless you're really familiar with the each green. There's too much undulation and speed to recover if you've short-sided yourself. The back 9 score reflected that simply aiming for the center was the way to go. It's hard to say whether or not the course was worthy of a "Top 10 New Courses" rating, but it's certainly worthy of a drive and greens fee.

Played this wonderful course again on the 10th and my comments still reflect that of my own further down in an earlier review.

Awesome course that is in great shape. Fairways are still a bit thin, but I suspsect they will fill in by summer's end. Wonderful people there too.

Course demands creative approaches, many times running up on.
