Pure tee boxes, fairways and firm greens with speed. That's what I got at Goose Creek. The course was in great shape, it doesn't get any better than hitting off cross mowed lush fairways. To make things even better, I finished my round in 4 hours. You gotta love that.

Played Tues. 102511, please someone mow the tee boxes! I wasn't expecting flier lies from the teeing area, terrible shape, long grass, uneven with plenty of bare spots. Other than that same old course, decent fairways with slow bumpy greens. The round took 5 1/2 hours to complete, I was the first group out following the ladies day. Talk about a long wait between shots, it was as slow as it can get.

Excellent shape, tee boxes firm and pure, fairways firm and fast, green rolls nice and true. After my round I commented to the pro shop that the superintendent has done a great job conditioning course. I would pay the members fee of $55 not the $110 weekday fee. That's a little step for a round of golf.
