played 4th of July, beautiful day, course in great condition from tee box to green, every hole no exception. Great layout, no gimmicks, good test of your shotmaking. Staff treats you well, free range balls, free bottles of water, cart is equipped with GPS and has a comfortable cushioned bench seat. Second time here and enjoyed it both times. Willing to drive from San Francisco again whenever possible. Actually worth the $85.00 especially after playing run down Santa Clara the Sunday before. Had the buffet for $9.98 with players card.

Played June 24th, sunny day but turned windy at the turn. Course is in decent condition overall but grass can be brown and sparse on some fairways. Greens were rolling fine but typical poa annua greens that can be tough to read sometimes. Bunkers for the most part are terrible but that for some reason is always the case. Not as much rocks as the last time I played here. Pace was good, staff is fine. Saw cart girl 3-4 times. Got a square deal through golfguide.org.

Played June 20 on an atypical sunny, warm day in San Franciscold. In great shape, rough was down, greens were a bit sandy and typically a little slow but true and smooth for the most part. Management is on the ball with maintenance. Bunkers are consistent. Everything in order with this course. Paid resident rate.

Played June 17 paid $55.00. Hadn't played here for months and the West course back then was the better of the two courses. But the dandelions have really taken hold of the tee boxes and fairways. The greens are ok. You can find much better deals than this but we played here because we had a fivesome. I would rather play Alameda North for the same price next time we have a fivesome.

Beautiful day for golf at Harding Park, now a TPC golf course which makes all the difference in the world. Today, the staff was busy sanding the fairways with specially-built Toro's that spread the sand and rakes it in evenly much like the screen they use for a baseball infield. The greens are very true and quick but you can still hold the greens. Pace was a little over 4 hours with a foursome on every hole. Rough was cut so it was relatively easy compared to other times I've played here. Most of the bunkers were well-kept but I heard of one having some pebbles and the 11th hole, par 3 had a very fluffy bunker. Great course to walk (lousy for buggies since cartpath only) and great layout with white tees plenty long for the average hacker. Restaurant has a great view of the 18th fairway and lake, food and beverage is good (we tried a hamburger, salad and appetizer).

Played day after Christmas rained for several days but did not rain today. Course holds up well overall with some puddling here and there but very playable. Greens were still true and fairly fast. Driving range was grass, not mats surprisingly. Fairways were decent considering time of year, tee boxes good. Cart have G.P.S. but cart path only today. Poles in fairway are for aiming only so without many yardage markers, you need some sort of hand held range finder. All in all, best wet conditions course in area. Staffers are friendly and helpful. No drink cart that we saw. Clubhouse in good shape, bathroom clean and modern. Well-kept premises.

$35.00 green fee, free range balls, friendly, cute cart girl, well-kept tee boxes, greens and fairways, friendly staff. What more can you ask for? Fast pace on a moist but ship-shape course. Out of all the courses in the Brentwood area, this one is always a steady value with a good layout without any circus holes. Course allows cart on course for most holes making for convenience and efficiency. A restroom on both nines and even an inexpensive vending machine serving drinks and snacks, numerous cart girl sightings notwithstanding. Always a pleasant experience as there are no backups nor hellified holes that will stall a high handicapper or two. Nice water feature at the start of Creekside even though we always cart right by without so much a glance or two.

Played today, Sunday December 5th. We were able to beat the incoming storm. Course was empty even though good rate of $40 with free range balls. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in very good condition and well groomed. I've always liked this course for it's layout and length with enough water hazards and trees to keep you on your toes without being gimmicky. No cart girl and no marshals which was no problem at all. Carts run well and fairly fast. Atmosphere friendly and courteous unlike Blue Rock West with its surly members.

There was a frost delay so shotgun start at 9am. My 4some teed off 10am no problem but cart only all day. Paid great price due to Toy drive. Course was wet and in places muddy but not super sloppy. I really like this course but d%mn it, the members here are surly and downright rude. The staff is great but the members act like they own the place and all others are trespassers. We usually come here when we have five-somes. But today was the straw that broke the camel's back. We're going to play Alameda when we have five-somes. The only other course that has surly regulars is GlenEagle of which I refuse to play. Oh...the greens healed nicely and rolled true.

Tee'd off 12noon at Eagle Vines today and for some reason, it was crowded and backed up and barely finished at dusk. Course is very well-kept from tee box to green. Fairways had good run, greens were true and fairly fast and no complaints about the tee boxes. Nice layout and interesting holes without any gimmicks. Plenty of water except the island green lake is drained but soon to be refilled. Beautiful environment and a beautiful day made for a great day to be alive and playing golf! Had breakfast at nearby Hwy 29 Cafe which is a great truck stop greasy spoon.

Played 3 ball with a 12year old girl 4th on Sunday yesterday. Beautiful day but we're non-residents so it was $49 to walk, $60 with buggy. Nothing special about this course as the layout is just so-so. Pretty straight and flat but the greens were good and pretty true. Have to b**** about the sprinklers though. Had to time hitting off 3 different tees between the sprinklers. Also had to play through the sprinklers on the 9th green and at least one other. There was no one to complain to on the course. No marshals, no cart girls. At the turn, I ran into the cafe to buy a drink. There's a big sign that says Express lane for golfers except that it is the ONLY line and there was a guy in front of me ordering his Thanksgiving menu or something to the only girl there. Had to flag down the cook from the kitchen finally. Btw, that 12year old played from the whites and just about par'd every hole on the front 9. She left after that. Maybe if I was a resident I'd play here but since I ain't, FORGET IT!

Played Nov 11 on a beautiful fall day with no wind, no fog! Old course is much more fun to play for me with it's numerous doglegs, rich grassy fairways and smooth, quick greens. Worked our way through the course letting our hair down on the lengthy par 4's and beautiful true rolls, well-manicured tee boxes. Couldn't have asked for a better day from the golf gods. Ever-friendly staff everywhere. I needed a 9 volt battery so one of the staffers drove me up to the hotel but the gift shop was closed. I asked the front desk where I could find a battery so she called another staffer to open up the gift shop just for me! Afterwards, we had food and libations at Mullin's which was pretty good. Paid $80 but you know what, once in awhile it's worth it!
