Rancho is now in okay shape. Greens are back to being bumpy and generally slow, with the normal number of unrepaired ball marks - that is to say, easily five to thirty on any given green. Like other... Continue »

Played on July 1. This course does well in the June Gloom. However, with the sun coming out, the fairways were dry in places and in need of a good watering.

I take back what I said about Rancho last month. It was in great shape then. Now it plays like downtown Baghdad. They sanded the greens again, apparently to prevent them from burning this summer. ... Continue »

Played 6/28. Greens still in poor shape after aeration. Slow and bumpy. Give it another week.
