Played July 2. The course overall is in good shape. The greens rolled well and held shots. The fairways, rough, and tee boxes are in good condition. The bunkers are fair. They are more a mix of sand and dirt but are playable. Lagos is an enjoyable course to play and the staff is friendly.

Course is laid out fairly well. Course conditions are perhaps some of the best of I have seen in a long while. Actually it will take a monumental idiot superintendent to mess up a golf course this time of the year so my hats off to the staff here for letting the course do what it does well ... grow; just add water and maintain (Rinse & Repeat)!

Course conditions are excellent. Weather cooperated as well. Greens were quick and held their line well. What you see is what you got, no surprises. Fairways were LUSH nice green well manicured fairways with penalizing thick rough +5 inches I would reckon. Green complexes were in great shape as well. Just a word to some of you golfers who refuse to fix divots .... Please fix your divots you are after all stewards of the golf course as well. Show your support and fix your divot and one other and keep the green conditions up. It takes 2 weeks for a green to recover from an unfixed divot, it takes only a day for a properly fixed divot. So take the time and do the right thing.

I liked the course conditions. Not too penalizing and not a lot of tricks just good old fashioned golf. Would I recommend playing here? Of course and don't forget Mesa Linda as well. That course is fun as well!

Played here 6-5-12 and was very surprised at the quality of the course. it was well taken care of and for 22 after 1 its def worth the price. The only problem is 3-4 of the green gave very high bounces on approach shots i hit the green deadnut center and it bounced off the greens where also very slow until around 4pm they seem to just rocket off. I think if you where to take the greens from the mesa linda course(same location) and put them on the lagos course it may be the hardest course in OC. Overall there where stacks of groups for mesa linda and we walked right on to lagos its only 3 dollars more so we finished in 4hr 15 mins as when u play mesa linda its a 5 and a half hour couse.

Had a very nice May afternoon round here recently. We went out as a 5-some on the twilight rate, and were bumping up against the group ahead of us at times. They had one guy walking, which I think slowed them down. Still, even with all that, we finished in 4 1/2 hours, which surprised me. we never were stacked 2-3 groups deep, even on the par 3s.

The course is in good shape, with some spots in need of more watering. The greens were in very good shape, without very few marked up greens. Overall, the course is not too challenging, as long as you stay out of the rough. The deep stuff can be pretty nasty here.

Played 3-20-12. Greens were very hard/firm. Pitch shots were bouncing 5ft in the air off the greens. The greens are to be punched during the second week of April so they should soften. The pin placements were difficult. The overall experience was great and the service was great as always.

Played 10-4. Started about 10 am. Drizzle kept most people away. So quiet and pace was perfect. No one in front or behind us. Finished in 3:45 hours. Back 9 was sunny so we took off our rain gear. I was in one bunker with water in bottom. Fairways and greens held up fine and weren't soggy. Greens were a little slower than on a dry day. Fun to play a deserted course that's usually so busy.

Played 8/17/11 at 1p. This place plays really slow! They allow 5somes to walk and they stack the tee box up! Conditions were pretty good, rough just a little longer than the fairway. Tee boxes level for the most part. The greens were really nice for the amount of traffic this course gets. A couple of sand traps on the front 9 were flooded and did not drain very well. Was only in one trap on the back 9 and the sand hard packed. Didn't get finished until almost 6p, 5+ hours on a Wednesday! Yikes!

Next time will try their Mesa Linda course which is shorter of their two courses but I heard the green is more challenging.
