I played today, Sunday, and the greens were punched and sanded. There are also many tee boxes which have been sodded. The pace of play was about five hours, typical for mid-morning weekends. It looks like they take credit cards for green fees now, but call and double-check me on that one.

Played at noon on Saturday, 10/6/07 in a tournament on a mild sunny SoCal day with only light breezes – a great day for golf. This heavily-used muni course was in pretty good condition. Greens were a little firm but rolled very well. Other course conditions generally good. Even a cart girl. Overall about a 7. Expect a very slow pace – our round took 5.5+ hours, after teeing off 20 minutes late.

Played 9/29, Saturday morning. Overall the course is in good condition, except some tee boxes are fixing and if they can level them correctly will be great. Greens are in good conditon and challenging. Need to bring your good short game skills.
Staffs are good and well managed.

Played 9/2/07 with a scheduled 10AM tee time. Did not tee off until almost 11AM. Both courses number 1 tees are next to each other and several groups went to the wrong tee. Finally the Marshall came over and corrected the situation. Hot day - in the 90's and only saw the card girl only twice - both times on the front nine. Slow play is the norm here, especially on holidays. Most par 3's have a one or two group wait. Back nine plays a little quicker.[

The greens were in great shape and putted true. Walkable course with good variety of holes. Unique double par 5's to start.

If you want to enjoy cool breezes and a well conditioned course with a reasonable holiday greens fee, put this course on your rotation. However, be ready for slow play.

Not bad today. Tee time was at 6:30am on Wednesday. Pace of play was under 4 hours! Not bad! Greens good, fairway good, and my golf BAD!

Played last week. Not too challenging but the couse is in great shape from tee to greens. The POP was slow at 5.5 hrs. Overall, a great course for beginner to intermediate palyers.

Played late twilight at about 4:30 yesterday. Only finished nine holes, as it was slow going out there. Course is in really good shape, though.
