A really interesting course but oh those greens. Unless you land near to the hole and softly, the ball will roll and roll. The course is great and very challenging. I will be back.

They just punched the greens, but ball seemed to roll fine due to the smaller punch holes.

Very slow on the front nine. Most greens are a little smaller. Other players are hackers (don't fix ball marks, don't rake sand, lots of slices between fairways, etc). Short course has only blue and ladies tees. Par 70, but challenging.

They were rehabing three tee boxes. The only fairway in really bad shape was the par 5 6th hole. Overall its a nice little course.

Saturday, 12:44 pm tee time, finished at sunset. Just under 6 hours for the round, but 3 1/2 were just the front as the marshalls would do nothing to move things along. Very frustrating. As to the course conditions, they are working on several tee boxes under repair so the 1st and 14th holes played much shorter. The fairways are dead and was hitting off dirt on nearly every hole. The ruff wasn't much better. The green were recently puched so that was the lone bright spot of the day. I love the classic layout of this course, but my time playing a 6 hour round is not worth saving the money to go here... fork out the extra $$$ for a nicer track.

This course is fairly short...however the small crowned greens (especially on the back 9) make up for this. In fact my worst scores were on the short Par 4's. The longer holes were relatively straight forward. There is some water on this course and a few holes with some elevation change to keep things interesting. I enjoy this course.

Played Sunday, Aug 27. Course is in same shape as always...tee boxes spotty, fairways so-so, greens less than so-so. I don't know what happened, but we played in 4 1/2 hours on a Sunday morning! If AGC would just dump some of those profits back into this place, it would be a gem. But, then again, the fees would go up and it wouldn't be the little getaway that it is.

Played Meadowlark on Monday the 31st of July and was pleasantly surprised compared to last time I played here, which has been awhile.
The course is ideal for the shorter hitters as most par 4's and all par 5's
are very reachable.
There are some sutlties to get you in trouble if you get lazy.
Fun course, took about 4 and 1/2 hours to complete the round.
Fairways were in pretty good shape, greens ehh ok, but after a weekend
of hammering I guess that's sort of normal for a Monday morning.
Sand traps (I was in two) are generously filled with fluffy sand. A few were way over watered, maybe run off from the greens, but wet sand is no fun.
Will return.

This course is my Waterloo. Don't know why but I always do poorly on shorter courses. Well short game wasn't there and contributed to it in spades. Course in great shape. Greens were a bit bumpy I think they need to sharpen those blades. But overall roll was fairly true. Just be mindful of those bumps. Fairway in good shape and bunkers lined with decent sand. Some of the tee boxes are uneven but what worries me the most is the close proximity of the greens to tee boxes. We were hit into not once. Not Twice. But 4 times. Holes 3 and 5 are bad. Some blind spots especially at 10 do not allow you to see left side. We hit into a group mistakenly when we thought they advanced. Appearently of cart of the group moved forward but the others were left behind. We hit into that cart. I mean it hit the cart and richocheted left; thankfully not hitting a soul. So be careful around that course. It's an accident waiting to happen. Rough is thick in places and overall inconsistent but tricky and not sticky so be careful when hitting those flop shots. Greens are bowled so expect chips that hit the edges to roll off. Play was slow but this course does get a lot of play. Wouldn't say the course is worth the money but if you live in OC you really can't complain since it is perhaps the only game in town for 10 square miles. Round took 5 1/2 hours.
