On Saturday, 4/14, I drove with two buddies to play this place. We had no idea what we were in for. I have played a ton of golf courses with tough layouts, and this layout is fairly difficult, but the conditions were the toughest I have ever played in. The course was set up for the Nationwide Tour event the weekend before. The fairways were perfect. Sand traps perfect. Greens were a little soggy from the rain the days before, but that didn't do to much to the rolls of the putts. LETS TALK ABOUT THE ROUGH. The proshop guys said they are cutting it soon. I am afraid for the lawnmowing man. We played 36 and there must have been 10+ instances where we simply could not find balls in the rough. They will cut it down and the course will have less teeth, but the rough was insane. I never think rough is that big of deal but i was clubbing up 2 plus clubs out of the rough. Finally, it cost us 74 dollars, on a Saturday, to play 36. What a deal. Going back soon.

First time playing this course on Sat the 31st. What a nice track, very well maintained, nice greens and fairways. Staff were very friendly and courteous, nice food at the bar/rest. Course can play as long and as tough as you would like it to be. suits all levels of players. A little long of a drive from Upland. 1.10 hr.

Played 12-16-11. This course is in perfect shape. Tee - green course is beautiful. Only negative is the leaves from the trees. Can make it challenging to locate your ball if you hit it offline. Wind was blowing about 50mph. Course plays lateral to the wind on most holes. Good times had by all. Not scores. One of my favorite courses to play in the inland empire.

The starter here is always very nice and gave a good run down on the course conditions before sending us out. He began with a little disclaimer about the bare spots and dry conditions. They are going to close the course for 2 weeks to do complete tee to green renovations. With the idea the course was going to be in "great shape" after the shut down, my thought as I start the round, I would be ok with the conditions I could see from the first tee box. The greens were the fastest I've played (around 11-12 as stated by the starter). Pace of play was atrocious... 5 hours! Bunkers almost perfect...I would know after 10 shots our of the traps.

Sand was not so much- wet and packed. Beautiful clubhouse and a great place to have a brew after a round. Definitely will play here again.

Played 9/3/11. Course is in great shape. The layout isn't very difficult here but there are some very well placed bunkers and lots and lots of trees which I had the pleasure of being shaded by them most of the time while I was right behind them or beside them. I can't say much about the fairways since I think I might have only found 2 all day but When I was in the fairway it was excellent. The rough however was very tough to play out of. The Bermuda rough was around 3-4 inches tall in most places I was and the ball was very difficult to find in the rough most of the time. Greens seemed pretty true and from what I remember I putt pretty well. I know I left a few easy putts stranded but I made a few from outside 10-15 ft. The sand was really wet but there was plenty of sand in them. A few tees were playing forward do to the Nationwide Tour coming through and par 3 tee boxes had lots of divots. Customer Service is good and the clubhouse is top notch.
