Played on 3/23/12 at about 11:30. Challenging track and great prices. Course was in good condition with fast greens. The course books were a nice touch for the nonregular here. Pace of play was good, finished in 4.5 hours. Great views and quiet.

First time playing this course and just loved the layout. The conditions overall were a 7 to 8. Pace of play, well here it goes, teamed up with another 2some from the O.C. and was discussing how we enjoyed better conditions,price and the pace of play the I.E offers. That was the jinks,5hr and 45min round that day,WOW it was painful. On a note, I' ve never seen a course so pro active in moving along the trouble spots,one was the first par 3 that was stacked up 4 groups deep and got it moving and even went to the clubhouse to get our group some coors light cause the cart girl was on the back 9. Nice. Long day but nice time. Into the rotation.

Played on 2/20/12 with a great deal from Click4tee times. Starter explained the local rules and gave us a course guide.... a must for first time players. Front nine plays along the creek and back nine loops out with fantastic views. Several holes on the back are target golf. Greens were fast with much break. Down hill puts hard to keep close. The combination of hard & fast greens made chipping difficult. Great track and plan on returning soon.

Beautiful course in a beautiful area. Nothing flat with this course, so course management is at an all time high. Greens were extremely firm and fast........difficult to keep the longer irons on. Greens were some of the most difficult I've ever had to read. No GPS provided and make sure you you hit the starter up for a course guide, as there's many hidden hazards throughout the course for you first timers!!

Played CrossCreek this afternoon. Teed off around 12:30 and finished just before it got dark, so can't complain. Pace was really slow on the first several holes, but got better as the day went on. This course is pretty challenging so if you get stuck behind (or in) a slow group, it can drag.

This has always been one of my favorite SoCal courses, though I haven't played here in quite awhile. I like that it's tucked back away from civilization and has a very beautiful setting with the only houses visible on the course being the big fancy ones perched on top of the hills surrounding the course. The course has a good variety of holes and a good mix of long/short holes with various risk/reward possibilities. A few holes are a little wacky in design, but can be tamed with well-placed tee shots.

For it being winter and so many other courses being ugly and dormant right now, CrossCreek was in relatively great condition. The rough was very lush, the fairways were pretty good, tee boxes were in good shape and the greens were in nice shape (except there were more unrepaired ball marks than I'd like to see). Staff was excellent as always. I'd highly recommend playing out here, though it helps to know the course or play with someone who does.

Have not played here in a while. Course was in good condition. No wet spots or bare areas. Greens were in good condition as well. Not all the greens were the same consistency so putting was a little tricky but overall the greens were in good shape. Speed was perfect and just fast enough to offer a challenge to the better golfers. The greens are undulated and slopped so overdoing the green speed can be a problem here and make rounds miserable for the average guy - this was not the case and our group enjoyed their round!

Cross Creek seems to be working hard to improve the conditions of the course. It's a challenging course, especially the greens. The greens are firm, undulating and very fast. Probably too fast for public play and the undulation. We all had quite a few three putts. It requires local knowledge and a soft touch to navigate the greens.

I'm sure that if the wind is up, it is a very challenging course. We played the mixed blue and gold tees, since some of the carries on the longer gold tees were a little tough for us. But, from the blue tees, a couple of the par fives can be carried in two good shots (which I like!).

The overall course design is good, except for a couple of wacky holes, like #16. It has a lot of variety, and it's sometimes hard to figure out a strategy from the tee box.

The limited staff was very friendly and attentive, and concerned about our opinions about the course.

We liked it!

Played Sat. 3rd group out..cold but warmed up by 4th hole. Course is really great condition!! Green where running at a 11 (cool that they actually measure the speed) seemed more like 12!! Course demands all your best shots you have. The customer service is outstanding. They take their golf seriously and so do I, maybe that's why I like it there so much. We had this threesome that was moving very slowly. (play your tees like the starter hinted to you) While making the turn the starter told us that he spoke to the slow group and told them quote.."2 1/2 hrs is unacceptable, you need to pick it up". We thanked him and we went straight to the 10th and expected to see the threesome just teeing off, but instead they where already putting..LOL..it worked. Go play this course, play it smart and you will love it.
