Played March 14th. This course, along with its sister course The Legends, is one of those courses you can always go to and never be dissipointed. The staff was friendly and the conditions for this time of year were great.

East Valley Golf Club has great practice facilities: chipping, range, putting. The fairways and greens were spectacular when we played on January 7th, 2011. The staff is friendly and the new course managers were very helpful with any questions. Quite a few of the tee boxes were below par. But that won't spoin your day.

The layout is just awesome, good for a challenge and attainable for the average golfer if you play the white tees. The greens are in good shape.

This course is a lot of fun. I would play there again.

Great golf course. I've played here several times and have been impressed every time I come. I've even brought friends who are used to more expensive courses and they were impressed as well. Challenging holes, and looks great, especially given that we found it in the winter and have never seen it in the spring. We like driving out there from LA because of the deals and because rounds go so much quicker than in LA.

Played Dec 12 at 7 a.m. This was my favorite place to play when it opened. Now it is getting worse every time I come here. THe greens are slow and the bunkers have no sand. Driving Range would be the best, but you hit off sand. Maybe they should put some in the bunkers. I probably won't come here anymore, even if Morongo fixes it up, the rumor is it's going to be very expensive to play. (like Pechanga) Oak Valley is right across the street and is ten times the layout this place is and it's always in great shape. Too bad, I really liked this place before.

First off I really did enjoy the layout of this course. It was challenging and I thought carefully about almost every shot i hit. I just couldn't get past the fact that the course was so packed. I had read previous reviews and all had claimed that East Valley over books the course but I did not expect it to be this bad. We were in no rush to finish but waiting up to 10 minutes in between shots is just unacceptable. with that said the tee boxes weren't the best, pretty uneven, I only hit into 2 sand traps and the first one was nice and soft and an easy out but the second one was like hitting off concrete. Fairways were awesome though, good lies and the greens had surprised me with very little ball marks considering how many people were out there playing and assuming it is like that everyday. Then again all the people i was playing behind couldn't hit a green from anymore than 5 yards out. Customer service was about 50/50, everyone was nice but no one really seemed to care all that much. I heard that I would have to buy a yardage book but they ended up being free the day I played I don't know if that's regular or not but this course really does need gps. Even with the yardage book I was still guessing some yardages and sometimes I could not find a sprinkler with the yardage on it. I would play this course again but I will only go on a weekday and hopefully it wouldn't be as crowded. If it is just as crowded next time then I will not be playing East Valley ever again.

The course was in very good shape although there was quite a bit of unrepair or improperly repaired ballmarks on the greens. This seems to be a growing trend in golf these days. Some of the tee boxes were thin and a bit unlevel. The course was its usual challenge - the rough on the back 9 was quite thick and difficult to negotiate or even find the ball. I do like this course, it's a great challenge and it steps up a few notches if the breeze picks up. It's worth the money. Just don't expect good breakfast service in the clubhouse. There's only one cook and she's very slow as is the lone waitress. You'd be better off stopping somewhere else for a bit before play.

course was pretty and challenging to play. great layout for the most part. a few holes are questionable but overall - great course. got tee time early morning, short staffed - 1 person checking in 15 people in line. plus our cart's battery shorted out - pretty fast service as they sent a replacement cart after we walked to the next hole.
will definitely come back to play.

What an amazing golf course. It's like being at a private course from the free range balls, lush tee boxes, manicured fairways, and smooth greens. The pace of play was great and we were sorry to finish so quickly because the course and play was so enjoyable. My only knock on the course was if you didn't have your own GPS or a yardage book sold in the pro shop, yardage on some holes was scarce. We drove 77 miles to play East Valley and would do it again anytime. A wonderful day of golf!

Played this morning at 7:30 with a Golf Now discount at $49, then got to the course and got a senior discount of $39, a real surprise. Course was in nice shape. There were a few areas of rough that was patchy and brown, fairway were very nice. The greens were in good shape, jus a few ball marks (way don’t people repair their ball marks?). I was expecting the greens to be faster, they were mostly soft, a few harder. The only real problem area were on a few the tee boxes, the ground was soggy and mushy from over watering. The layout was challenging lots of bunkers. Pace of play was excellent, finished in 3.75 hours. $39 for this course was kind of unbelievable. Staff was very nice. I will be going back out and trying the Legend course soon.
