A nice course in a beautiful setting. Right now the greens roll ok, but they are very firm. When I hit high short iron approaches I hardly made a ball mark in the green. They have to aerify these greens soon to soften them up a bit. The Stonehouse 9 is my favorite of the 3 nines.

Three very different nines, Stonehouse the best and hardest. Had a great lunch between the 2nd and 3rd nine. Tee boxes and traps could have been a bit better. Overall, will go back.

Played 3/9 in my monthly club tournament. Quite a drive from the south bay, should have spent the night there. Course is in very nice shape, fairways a little long, but everything very lush, water comes into play on some holes. My only disapointment was the price, for 80.00 bucks I would expect GPS on the cart, or at least some yardage markers on the course beyond small flags on the cart path. Very few markers in the fairway and the ones that were there were tough to find.

Played Saturday 11/13 and all 3 nines are playing great. Stonehouse and Oaks are good test from the tips. Bring your A game or lots of balls for the Stonehouse.

Played as part of a PubLinks tournament on Nov 8. Rain affected Oaks on a few holes, some casual lakes. Overall course, Oaks/Creek, very good shape. Greens have responded nice. Some bunkers required drops due to casual water still. Major complaint was that the management decided to mess with the shotgun start and forced doubling up on holes. Consequently some didn't finish, others were in the dark. Poor management of weekday golf, taking advantage of the fact that money is in the bank, lets screw the customer concept.

Sun. p.m. Stonehouse front 9, tough cuz narrow canyon-like fairways. Stuck behind real slow group, so snail's pace after 4th hole. Back 9 switched to Oaks-wide open, played in 2 hours, a dream, no one around, beautiful views. Cart path only as fairways still recovering, w/ some brown, bare patches. Overall, great day.

Gotta be fair, they just plugged the Stonehouse last week,Creek is OK, in good shape,, But,,, the tee boxes are really bad, torn up,uneven,not a flat lie anywhere from the blue tees. The greens on the Stonehouse side are slow,slow,slow, they need more sand,, Creek side is good fast and true. Havent been here for awhile, wont be back soon, needs maybe 2-3 months to get well.
staff was fine,, too bad, good layout, fun destination.
