Never played here before, we were on the Oaks/Creek courses on Saturday, Dec 26. Starting time delayed an hour due to frost. Staff was great, explained as much as they could up front. Cart path only all day. The fairways were great, but the greens were very bumpy, any putt over 8 feet that went in was luck. Probably due to the walking near the cup and how wet the greens were. Our 4some really enjoyed the 4.5 hour round.

Played all 27 holes last weekend with a small group of 24. The deal they gave us was incredible. For $175 per guy we were given 18 holes on sunday with range balls and dinner. Then we were given a shared room that evening. The next morning we were given breakfast, then range balls and 18 holes. WOW service was perfect!!

I really enjoyed this place. played the oaks/stonhouse and really thought the layout way very cool. Lots of terrain changes, lots of elevation changes, and just a beautiful setting. Course is narrow on some holes, so you've gotta be straight. Some holes are as wide as the Grand Canyon and you can just bomb it. Water comes into play very little.

I played the Oaks,Creek course the other day and had a good time. The reviewers comments are spot on. The Oaks is an awesome "traditional" style layout with lush green grass and mature trees. Tee to green was immaculate with very distinct holes and just a great 9.
The Creek is the weakest 9. (Having played the other 9 at an earlier date.) Having said that I enjoyed my first round on that 9. It reminded me of Rancho Park, or Wilson Park a little. I enjoyed shaping my tee shots both ways in order to find the middle of the fairway. The "Creek" refernce is kinda weak, cuz the only water that I remember was on the last hole, and it didn't really come into play.
Finally, they didn't seem busy at all, and I think they must be struggling with the economy, etc. Too many other nice courses for cheaper, but if the extra coin isn't an issue, the TCI, or Cross Creek are the way to go for Temecula golf.

The greens were nice...pretty firm and rolled true. Sand traps were nicely done...consistent and with sand. Fairways maintained with a few divots.

No GPS and not very many marked sprinkler heads. Could also use some directional fairway flags for blinds shots.

Overall...still a good course to play. Just need a little housekeeping for the tee boxes.

Played in a tourney...Boy was it HOT! The course is in good shape tee to green. I wish people would fix their ball marks though. I have no real complaints. I love the Oaks nine!

3/29/08. Played the Creek/Oaks. Course was in very good condition. On the Oaks nine, the greens were fast and challenging. The #4 hole had only one bunker in front that was hard packed mud. The Creek side was noisy due to the freeway. Greens were a little easier to navigate.

Played the Creek/Oaks 18 on Friday 1/18/08. The course was in fair condition for the middle of winter. Fairways were being plugged on the Creek 9 so your shoes were caked with mud most of the time. Oaks fairways were in good shape. Greens were fast and smooth but half of every green was plugged and sanded. All of the pins were put in areas without sand so putting was'nt really hurt that badly. Temecula Creek has 18 very good holes in the Oaks/Stonehouse. The Creek 9 is very dull. When you call to make a tee time ask for the Oaks/Stonehouse. If you can't get on that combination I would'nt suggest making a long drive to play the course.

3 different nines. I played creek and the oaks. Very good test of golf. The Inn and it's amenities are wonderful. They have a stay and play package that is great.
