We had a work golf weekend May1/2 at Temecula Creek. Played Creek/oaks on Sat. and Oaks.Stonehouse on Sun. What a great place! Staff took excellent care of us. The course is in really nice shape. Got a little windy Sat. with an 11 am tee time. Stonehuse is tough. Only bad part was the a-hole I played with on Sun. He was in a big hurry to get done so he could see the Laker game. Really put a damper on the round. I will be back here again soon

Played Oaks/Stonehouse and conditions were great. Greens are speedy but were holding quality shots. Fairways are good, it looks like they recently aerated as some holes are still evident. Rough is playable and the two bunkers I found myself in had good sand. The only blemish to this course are the tee boxes. More than just a few need to be leveled. The staff is great, saw the beverage cart a couple of times. Will play it again, early to avoid the wind!

Played 3/11. Course is in great shape. Played all 3 nines. All 3 maintained the same. Greens are rolling fast so as the saying goes, stay below the hole. Tee boxes were lush and level. Fairways lush except for small areas where there were lots of divot marks in landing areas. No deep rough to speak of and bunkers had soft sand. Water hazards are wet. Stonehouse nine is the prettiest and most challenging as you need to play twice it to know were to hit the ball on some holes. Friendly staff. Great experience from calling in for tee time to 19th hole.

Played the Oaks/Creek this morning. Teed off around 8:15 in a cold and blustery wind. Course recovered well from the over night rains. Greens were pretty slow as they had not been cut due to the rain.... Continue »

Played the Oaks/Creek this morning. Teed off around 8:15 in a cold and blustery wind. Course recovered well from the over night rains. Greens were pretty slow as they had not been cut due to the rain. Very few pitch marks and they rolled very well. Tee boxes and fairways in great shape. Course has a lot of dog legs. Fade this hole, draw the next hole. Lots of trees to maneuver around. Service was very good. No bev cart but snack bar was quick with a very good breakfast burrito. I had not played here in about 10 years. I will go back sooner than later.

Got the stay and play package for the Labor Day weekend, Sept. 5th and 6th, 2009. I played the Creek and Stonehouse nines twice as the Oaks course was closed for maintenance. Nice resort-style course without nearby homes to hit into. The Creek nine reminds me of a nice, mature municipal course with really nice greens and fairways. The Stonehouse course was like Robinson Ranch or Lost Canyons with really soft fairways and greens. Both were quiet, except for the adjacent I-15 freeway. I liked the greens. They were very soft and held just about any type of shot. They were also smooth and quick; however, not lightning fast. Very few ball marks were to be seen. People do fix them here. Fairways were nice. A few areas seemed to be overwatered, but maybe it was just because I was with the first group out in the morning. One major note: Several tee boxes were quite unlevel and needed mowing. Example: I had trouble finding a level spot on many of the tee boxes on the Stonehouse course, especially #3 and #5. My tallest tee, pushed slightly into the ground had my ball resting at the top of the grass. The Creek course didn't seem to have this problem. All in all, it was a pleasant weekend of golf. Course personnel were attentive and helpful. I was paired with locals/regulars and found everone to be friendly and personable. A regular, Kevin, was very helpful with some tips, reads, and winery advice. Thanks.

Played all 27 holes today. First time playing here. Course was in GREAT shape. Fabulous value with JC Players Card. Greens were lightning fast. Teeboxes and fairways were near-perfect. A classic style course. Elegant. Very scenic with lots of beautiful live oak trees. Would rate the Stonehouse 9 as the most fun course followed by Oaks 9 with Creek 9 the least memorable (but still nice). Bunkers were okay but not soft sand. We all wished carts had GPS units. Distance markers on sprinkler heads are okay, but not plentiful. Clubhouse and snack bar are okay but not memorable. Bottom line -- a nice change from target golf. I'll be back for sure.

Stopped to play with a friend on the way to San Diego for business on a Sunday. Pretty pricy for public course, but clubhouse, range snack area were nice...so far, so good. Greens were a little sandy, slowed ball down somewhat but overall nice. Sand was very nice also, course layout and conditions was good enough, Stonehouse layout was beautiful and was getting over the price but caught up to a very slow playing 4 some that extended round well past enjoyable. No course marshall on a Sunday for $80 price tag? It was agonizing watching them ahead of us, we caught them several times but they had no clue about proper ettiquete, etc. and basically ruined the late afternoon, back nine.

Played this morning and the course was in great shape. Played the Oaks and Stonehouse. Greens on Stonehouse were much faster than the Oaks but both were in good shape. Tee boxes ok not great, but we were first off and finished in 3 1/2 hours.
