Played 5/8 12:30 Tournament. Stone/Creek. It's been a while since I played this course and have only played it maybe 5 times, but it was in the best condition I've ever seen it. Fairway's where near perfect. Greens had been verti- cut, but where in great shape. Maybe because of the recent rains they were very soft and putted med/fast. It was fun to be able to stop balls on the greens. Didn't find any traps, but they looked fine?

Played the Stone - Creek course Sat @ twilight. Really love this course conditions are very good. Haven't got any complaint at all from the staff to the course to the pace of play just perfect for a nice Sat afternoon. I played well too :) and after the round passed by Pechanga Casino for an hour and won back all my money i spent what a day. If you wanna play this course now is a good time.. Heard they just aerated the Oak course so we avoided that 9. definitely will be back

Just would like to put in a shout out to Joe Strange in the Pro Shop. He is a stand up guy and listens to his customers. I think this course is lots of fun and plenty challanging for a resort course. I've been playing here for 25 years. We only get out there a couple times a year but it is worth the drive! Since the "Stonehouse" 9 was built this golf course now has a bite that is not to be forgotten. Know your yardages and how far you hit your clubs or you may just wind up in trouble.

Tee boxes- little chewed up but very playable
Fairways- good shape for the most part, consistent lies throughout
Rough- good shape, not very penal
Greens- good speed (I prefer fast greens), good true roll, little marked (it's a public course and most golfers either don't fix ball marks or do it incorrectly)
Layout- not boring, varying types of holes
Value- GolfNow deal at $78, even at that rate it feels a little overpriced

Pace of play was great (just over 4 hrs) which is always a plus

Not a bad course but probably more reasonable at $50-$60

Played yesterday as a twosome and we were able to book our time at the last imnute and when we got there we got of a tad earlier. Course was pretty empty. I think most people decided to come out at the last minute. We played the Creek and Stone House combo and the Creek is not all that hard. Pretty straight forward, what you see is what you get. Everything was in decent condition on that nine. Greens were not really fast and putts were pretty straight. Actually my only birdie on the day came when I hit the ball so far right on one of the holes that I was in the other fairway. I was able to knock it on and make the putt. We asked to switch to Stone House at the turn since the cart girl told us about that nine. That nine is certainly requires some strategy and the wind was certainly blowing yesterday when we got there. With the wind the course was very hard. I say the greens were a tad faster on this side than the Creek side. Unlike the Creek however there is plenty of trouble off the tee. If you miss the fairway here there's a good chance you might not find your ball. There were a couple of tee boxes that were in pretty bad shape. I think there were 2 or 3 that were just completely sanded and not much room to tee off from. The staff was great and there's a decent size putting green and range. One thing I didn't like was the freeway right there. Some proceed to honk right as I putted and distracted me a little. I can't believe I hadn't played here before so it was nice to play here finally.

Great track. Cant believe I have lived in the area for almost 20 years and have never played it. As the last guy "Z" says.....greens perfect but a bit too slow for my liking--thats basically the ONLY thing I can say about this beautiful track. Speed them up a bit and its d%mn near a perfect farm.

Played in the morning on Tuesday the 22nd and the course is in great shape. The greens could have been faster, but they were smooth and rolled great, so I can't complain. Fairways were perfect, rough was nice and full, even though it could have been longer and pace of play was great. Saw the cart girls a couple of times and the customer service was great. Glad I chose to play here today.

Played this on Sat 4/21 at noon for the first time and boy did i made the right choice, Very nice course , very good condition played all 3 nines. Oak,Creek, Stonehouse in that order and really enjoyed it.. if you haven't played this course now is the time and i recommend playing all 3 nines, you won't be disappointed. A little slow pace but didn't really bother us . Loved the Stonehouse layout so much, we will be back very soon
