Overall, conditions were in great shape, I played all 3 nines multiple times, Oaks and Creek is a flat classic design, the Stonehouse is a little more interesting with a few severe downhill shots and blind shots, but with a great finishing hole. I would definitely return again, for there stay and play, which made for a great value, but for the regular rack, there are much better layouts, I would rather play.
The rooms have been updated and were much nicer, than the last time I here a few years ago.
Bloody Mary's were excellent.

Played today in a tournament with 'perfect' weather on a well groomed course. The entire place was fantastic today - only area needing attention were a few thin/damp tee boxes. Greens were nicer than my last round here about eight weeks back. This place drew me to the Temecula Valley many years ago when it was called "Rainbow Canyon". It is a great old very well kept resort and always a pleasure to play!

I played on Friday, January 2nd and paid $58. Due to a frost delay, we played a shotgun start through the Creek/Oak layouts. Kudos to the staff for putting together the shotgun to minimize the frost delay. BTW, when I say frost, I should say snow delay! There were large patches of snow and snowmen found throughout the course. It made me wonder if I was in Socal still. Despite the weather, the course conditions were good! From tee to green, the grass was lush and well kept. The only issue for me were the bunkers. Every one of them turned into small ponds and they were unplayable. The greens rolled true but the were very deceptive. I seemed to be facing subtle to large breaking putts which demanded a combo of read and speed to make them and unfortunately for me, I could never dial them in. The Creek layout is fairly straight forward and lacks memorable holes. If possible, I'd recommend doing the Stonehouse/Oaks layouts. The cart girl came around several times. If you have a chance to grab a bite and/or drink after the round, it's worth doing so at the restaurant onsite. It offers a nice environment overlooking the golf course to enjoy.....one of the better 19th holes IMO. Recommended.

I play here once a year! I get the groupgolfer coupon for two days of unlimited golf and one night stay for two. Temecula has three nines, Creek, (fairly easy and flat) Oaks, (more interesting and challenging, hole 4 comes to mind!) and Stone house. Which is the hardest because of the elevation changes and carries. Very beautiful. Perfect for you and a golf buddy! You drive up early, T times start at 11:00 but I got a 10:30 and 10:00 the next day. Usually your room is ready although they say check in is at 4:00 pm. Drop your stuff off and go play! So close to Old Towne Temecula, go have a Steak at the Gambling Cowboy or head to Pechanga for a night of Luck? I usually ad an extra nights stay so you don't feel rushed but it's your call. Great for a romantic get away! Very peaceful. You can hear the 15 freeway but you really have to listen for it. The course is now done! Everything is in great condition except the consistency of the bunkers. Some are white fluffy sand and others seam to be just Dirt. :( But that's it. Some slow play...but take in the beauty and it's not so bad. Highly recommended. ;) Go play!

Great location and great weather. Some slow play issues but the slow group let people play through.

Figure on $55 for the green fee and cart unless you get a discount on Golf Now or some other website, hopefully, Greenskeeper.Org. $5 for range balls doesn't make sense to me.

Best shape I've ever seen here, ever!! Everything green and lush and well-manicured. The entire course is in fantastic shape from the recent rains and warm weather. Beautiful scenery surrounding the course makes this course a joy to play. Definitely a must play if you are in the area.

Played here today 01/26 with a friend of mine. Creek/Oaks, creeks is a very boring 9, did not find it interesting at all, Oaks however is a fun course with character, enjoyed it very much. Tee boxes on both could use some attention, greens were nice, held well rolled pure and fast. Fairways were good for this time a year. will be back, but only to try the stone house 9. Thanks GK for the Coupon, it was worth it.
