Another mid morning round on the Oaks/Creek nines this time in 4.5 hours. Not much has changed since last round other than the greens are in fantastic shape and rolling true. The greens had hardly any marks and are near the speed you usually get during a round here. The maintenance crew were all over the course on their mowers because it's Wednesday. It's actually nice to play right after the course has been cut because the lies are near perfect and wayward shots are much easier to locate and hit. The fairways are in fantastic condition with a few holes having quite a bit of unfilled divots from the approach yardage. They were nice enough on the second nine to dump a small outing into the fray without notice which slowed up play the last few holes. Definitely recommended

Mid morning 4.5 hour round Oaks/Creek nines on a warm spring day. The staff is tops always and the practice facilities were busy as usual. The tee boxes were all trimmed with the par 3's still being mine fields. Maybe the maintenance crew could fill the numerous divots on the par 3's tees? The golfers surely don't. The rough has finally been cut down to a few inches which allows you to locate your ball. Making a decent shot and advancing your ball from the rough is not likely. The fairways have really filled in perfectly with fantastic coverage and great lies on every hole. Hitting a shot from the nearly perfect fairways is great and some roll out can occur with lower trajectory shots. The traps are all groomed very nice and all had plenty of surprisingly dry groomed sand! The greens all have total coverage and hold shots well. There were hardly any ball marks to be found and they were rolling much quicker than the last round. The speed is almost back to what you would find here in most rounds with some difficult to see lines. The course is in excellent condition and should continue to improve with the warmer weather ahead. Weekday rates are reasonable.

Early Friday morning cool and misty round on the Creek/Stone nines. The staff has always been the best here since the 80's when it was called Rainbow Canyon. It's been awhile since playing the Stone nine which has been shortened to a par 35 with the first hole now a par 4. I'm sure those that were having their vehicles damaged in the parking lot had something to do with that! The carts are nice with fairly accurate GPS. The tee boxes were all level with good coverage except for the par 3's which were a real mess of deep divots and spotty grass. The wet rough was extremely thick with fresh cut grass clippings/mounds that made finding a ball in it nearly impossible. If you could find your ball in the rough hitting from it was not fun. The grounds crew was mowing the rough and fairways as we were playing which became slightly bothersome. The freshly cut fairways were a beautiful emerald green with total thick lush coverage. There are many unfilled divots on the fairways usually found from about 150 yards and in on the par 4 and 5 holes. Great coverage of the fairways with the freshly cut grass made for perfect lies and pretty nice roll. The traps are always damp and difficult to hit from every time we play here which is really a bummer. The traps do have good sand and plenty of it but many golfers neglect to rake them. The weekday rates are acceptable and they do offer walking rates for those that like to do that and save some money.

Late afternoon Oaks/Creek nines 4.5 hour round on a busy course. It's been over a year since playing here after having been a member for many years. The staff is always great and the practice facilities always busy. The carts are still looking good with gps that is somewhat accurate. They do allow walkers which saves you $20 per player. The tee boxes were in great shape with total coverage. The rough still is very thick but only a few inches long but still difficult to locate a ball in and usually hard to advance it as far as you would like. The fairways were all in fantastic condition with plush green grass cut at just the right length. They were not damp or dry which allowed for good roll until the rough gets in the way. The traps all have nice sand and are well groomed. There are some with large pebbles that find their way onto the greens during the day. The greens were very nice with total green coverage but very slow. The practice greens were quick as usual but the entire round our group found them ALL to be extremely slow. Probably the slowest I have ever seen them in the 40 years of playing here. They held shots well and rolled true but very slow with not as much break as usual. The weekday afternoon rates make the place reasonable. The morning rates and weekend rates have become too much for the average golfer to stomach in comparison to other local facilities. Love this place but will only be out when the rates allow.

$110 to ride, which is about the norm these days for a weekend. Not worth it right now in my opinion. We played Creek/Stonehouse. They're coming off a recent aeration, so I will try and be a little nicer on the harsh conditions.

We played the middle tees ("Autumn", I guess they call them) and they were not in good shape, at all. Unlevel with lots of divot damage and bare spots. Just about every tee took some extra time to evaluate where you could find a level lie with good coverage.

Greens were in ok shape. Definitely showed some signs of aeration and were pretty bumpy and on the slow side. They held shots well, but that's about the only good thing about them. Perhaps they will improve in a few more weeks.

Bunkers were in ok shape fairly good sand, but a bunch were unraked. Not sure if it was the speed golfers that went out first thing? (they were hilarious to watch sprint around with their minimal golf clubs in hand)

Fairways were about the highlight of the course. They were in pretty good shape and provided some decent roll out with good cushion. No complaints here.

Customer service was all good. Starter was on point and saw the beverage cart a couple times.

It's probably my least favorite course in the area, but it's still fun. Decent food in the restaurant afterwards. I semi-recommend, but would wait a few more weeks.

Played here today with some friends with a 10:30 start time. The whole course is cart path only due to the rains, which slowed the pace to about 5 hours. Played Oaks/Creek, and I believe Stonehouse was closed due to being too wet. We got rained on at least five times for 5-10 minutes each time. We also got a few periods of bright sunlight (including an amazing rainbow), but mostly cloudy skies for the day.

Regarding conditions, I didn't rate the course because it seemed the fairways and tees maybe weren't able to be mowed, and bunkers were a bit messy, all due to the course being so wet. That said, give this place some time to dry out and it's gonna be amazing! I don't think I've ever seen the fairways as green and lush as they are right now. Greens were really nice, medium-fast, smooth, and accepting of full shots. Rough was thick and penal, putting a premium on hitting the fairways. As I said, bunkers seemed like they could use some raking but had plentiful sand. Tee boxes were decent with some of the par 3s having lots of divots, which seemed worse when the grass that exists is wet and slippery.

Definitely recommended if we get a few days of sunshine/warm temps to dry things up.

Early morning cold Sunday round in 4.5 hours on the Oaks/Creek. This place is always busy. Staff had everything moving smoothly as always. The foggy start was a little uncomfortable not knowing if the group in front of you was clear and hoping the group behind you didn't hit into you! The fog lifted around the fourth hole and the pace of play picked up with the sunny skies. The tee boxes were all in nice condition with good coverage and very few broken tees. The thick damp rough has finally been trimmed down to a nice length that allows you to find your ball and make a swing. The fairways were in excellent shape with total coverage and were being cut as we played. There are sections in the fairways where unfilled divots come in to play. The sand traps have all been groomed nicely and they all have plenty of sand (many of the traps have small pebbles/rocks in them). The greens were all in great shape with a few ball marks in need of repair but overall pretty good. They held shots okay and were slightly slower than usual. The course is in the best condition I've seen it in for some time.

Sunday morning round in almost five hours on the Creek/Stonehouse nines. Staff is top notch as well as the carts. The tee boxes were all a little thin and shaggy but very few broken tees this round! The rough is JUST ridiculous still. Most groups spend sooo much time looking for their shots in the rough which REALLY slows down the pace of play. The rough on the Creek ans Stonehouse nines ranged from a few inches to several. Not sure WHY they cannot get the rough cut down to a reasonable height??? The fairways were damp from recent rain and many were cart path only WHICH also slows down the pace of play. The ninth hole on Stonehouse had no defined fairway as the the entire landing section was a 3-5 inches long? Maybe the mower broke down or it was too damp to use?? Frustrating round for my partner and myself. The traps have all been trimmed up and are free from grass and RAKES on a few holes?? THe greens were in very good condition but slightly slower than usual. The Stonehouse nine greens still showed signs of aeration and were slow but held shots and rolled well enough. The views on the course are great and hopefully they can get their rough under control.

Played here today with a 2:10 tee time. $55 to ride. Joined a friend from Vegas (Joe from The Chasing Daylight Podcast / @hittingreens on Instagram) and his friend Trey. We were joined by a nice single. The Oaks nine is currently closed for maintenance so we played Creek/Stonehouse. Pace was fantastic and we finished in about 3:40. Nice cool weather and it even rained a bit for a couple holes.

The course is in good condition. Greens are mostly in good shape but there are some unfixed ball marks in various states of repair. They accepted full shots well but anything less than a full, spinning shot would run out some. I had a hard time gauging speed most of the day. Fairways were mostly good, not quite great. Rough varies from a little thicker to much thicker than the fairways and can be penal. Black tee boxes were mostly good. I was in one fairway bunker that could've used a raking; my ball was sitting down a bit between higher points of sand.

The Creek nine is pretty boring so I'm glad we played it first. Oaks/Stonehouse is definitely the best combo here. Really fun day! Not a bad deal at the twilight rate but not sure I'd be thrilled to pay $30 more earlier in the day.
