Was able to play all 3 9's on Saturday the 29th and the course is in great shape, overall. The Oaks had a little bit of top dressing sand on the greens but it was not much and had very little affect on putts. The other 2 nines, greens were perfect. Fairways and rough in great shape with no bare spots and consistent coverage and length. Bunkers were good but the worst part of the course with a few having grass starting to encroach and needing a little TLC. Cart girl was great as was check in and the pro shop. Well worth the fees.

Mid morning round in slightly over four hours on a perfect day for golf! Great staff and nicely stocked pro shop. Always run very professionally and efficient. The tee boxes were all in good shape with some being a little thin. The rough was thick but short enough now to locate your ball and put a swing on it. The fairways continue to fill in nicely as the weather warms up. Almost perfect lies on both nines we played this morning. The sand traps are all in really good shape now with good sand (sometimes wet) but too many people still need a lesson on what the rakes in them are for!!! The greens are in fantastic condition and starting to remind me of why I love the course. The greens held shots well and rolled true but many had numerous ball marks (surely the same people who don't use the rakes). There are a few trees that do need to be removed and/or trimmed on some holes to be a fair test of golf. The entire course is really in very nice shape now and a pleasure to play.

I have always looked at playing here but never pulled the trigger. This weekend we finally decided to give it a shot after booking a last minuet tee time for Sat 1/15 at 9:10am. Rack rate was $75 to walk + $20 if you wanted to ride. We walked Creek/Stone 9's and had a blast. Check in was simple and the starter was very friendly. POP was just over 4 hours with minimal waiting, I suppose if we took a cart we would of had to wait longer to hit but the slowness of our walking was the perfect tempo.

Course was in fantastic shape with the fairways being lush and dark green in color. The rain definitely helped keep the entire course green but I was still surprised on how green it was. Rough was thick and penal but not too frustrating to play from. Sand traps were decent but they were wet from the morning dew and sporadic rain drops that happened throughout the day. Greens were small needle punched maybe a week or two ago but it did not affect the putting. They were quick and a touch firm but a real pleasure to play. If I could nit pick anything it was the tee boxes. it was 50/50 on conditions with probably 5 of them just dirt. I dont recall the entire box being bad but they definitely need to move the markers.

As previously mentioned we played the creek and Stonehouse 9's. Creek is flat and the greens are well guarded by bunkers and well placed trees. Also we noticed from the back tees we played there were at least 3 large tree's hanging over blocking part of your tee shot. One was on a par 5 were if you hit your driver high you would hit the tree unless playing a large draw/hook. Stone house has more hills and gets much tighter in areas including 3 blind shots into the fairways. I felt the fairways didn't allow as much roll out on the back but I really enjoyed the elevation changes and more trees surrounding the greens. It reminded me of the back nine at Woods Valley (Native Oaks). I am really glad I finally got to play here and will no longer hesitate to look up tee times here especially for $75 prime time weekends.

Played around 10 and got around in 4 hours. Course is soft and seemed wet from the fairways to the greens and tee boxes but still very playable. Love the course and played the oaks/creek. Bunkers have good sand but not maintained very well and no one uses rakes anymore. Greens ok and rolled good, had micro punches but no sand and putts were not affected much, if at all. Great check in and beers at the turn. Recommend this course, no houses around and nice challenge without being to punishing.

Early am 4.5 hour round on Creek/Stonehouse nines. Staff is great and carts are as well. Noticed many ball marks on their practice greens. Those responsible should have been informed that the practice greens are NOT for chipping practice! Probably the same idiots who don't rake the traps or fix their ball marks on the course. The tee boxes were all a little to very thin on both nines. The rough continues to be thick and penal. Lost balls in the fairway rough are common especially with all of the leaves around the greens. All fairways had good coverage but tight lies were common and often around the greens. The traps have improved and all have great quality sand, just too many golfers still refusing to use a rake after playing form them. The greens had all been lightly sanded (which was not communicated) and had patches and lines of sand that made putting difficult. The greens on the Stonehouse nine were in much better shape. The greens held shots and the speed has improved which is nice. The course has finally lifted the restrictions on the carts which will improve the pace of play. The course was very busy with no times open till late afternoon. Definitely a place to schedule the weekend tee times as far in advance as possible.

The early morning Oaks/Stone tee time became a mid morning four hour round with a two hour frost delay. We played in front of the Golden State Tour that was playing their final round. The staff is always professional and well trained. The course was in very good condition but still cart path only. The tee boxes all had good coverage and were in great shape. The rough was pretty thick, damp and long. Hitting shots from the rough was not a delight. The fairways have all filled in nicely with good lies and total coverage. The traps were all full of good sand but a few needed to be groomed as they were growing some good grass in them. The greens were a little frozen even with the two hour delay but thawed out quickly. There were very few ball marks and every green was in great shape. The greens quickened a little but were slower than usual and all held shots well. Definitely a course to recommend again!

Early Saturday afternoon tee time Stone/Oaks in 5.5 grueling hours. The course was cart path only which added to long round. The course was very damp and muddy in a few places on the Stone nine. The staff is excellent and carts are as well - one playing partner from up north was impressed with the quality of the ride. The tee boxes were all in good shape but littered with broken tees. The rough was extremely thick and unforgiving. I'm guessing they were scheduled to mow it but the Friday rain didn't allow? The fairways on the Stone nine had good coverage and were slightly damp with no roll whatsoever. The first fairway on the Oaks nine was really really thin. The traps still need to be trimmed and cleaned up but all had lots of great sand and rakes. The greens were all green and that was about it! Every green on both nines were so marred with ball marks in need of repair and footprints EVERYWHERE that making a putt was almost impossible. Putts did not hold lines and jumped and bumped everywhere. Some balls ended up settling in footprints and indentations. The pace of play was taxing but luckily our group enjoyed the round enough. The fees paid were definitely not worth the playing conditions. The Stone nine is scheduled for maintenance shortly and will shut down.

We were the second group out Sunday morning behind a terribly slow threesome finishing in FIVE HOURS. The clowns thought they were on TV! WE played the Creek/Stone combo as the Oaks was closed for maintenance. The staff is always great as are the carts. The course was not in the usual great shape though which was not good. The tee boxes were very damp and thin on a few holes. The rough was extremely damp from over watering and very thick. The fairways were also waayyy too WET and very thin on several holes. There were numerous places that should have been marked as gur but had not. Tee shots did not roll at all and your ball was covered with mud on most holes. The traps were well groomed but most needed to be raked and many were very damp. The greens were all in very good condition and were only slightly slower than usual. They are raising their rates also Oct. 1st and their fees for the club members are also going up. The only bright spot of the round was driving by the Creek nine on my way out and seeing that it appeared to be in great shape!

Cant say enough good things about this place. The layout is fun and all 3 nines are vastly different and at least two of them are easy to walk and fun to play. The greens were slower than normal but in great shape. The rest of the course is in great shape even with the heat out here. Well worth the greens fee and always plays at a great pace of play.

You should get out here and play.
