Early Sunday morning round in about 4.5 hours on the Creek/Stonehouse nines. Staff is great on every visit. The carts are top notch in every aspect with bluetooth and exact yardage shown for every shot. The tee boxes were all in good shape but still a few too many broken tees? The rough was just about perfect allowing for you to find your errant shot and fairly advance the ball. The fairways were all in great condition with total coverage and only a few tight lies. The traps were hit and miss with about half in fair shape but in need of a raking and rakes were IN THEM! The other half of the traps were in desperate need of grass removal and a raking. The greens were excellent but most slightly damp and slower than usual. All greens accepted good shots and held their lines excellent. The course overall was a little wet in places but it was early in the day with heat forecast. Summer playing conditions are getting close to their prime right now and definitely a course to play!

Early am round on Creek/Stonehouse nines Sunday on an excellent course. Staff is always friendly and helpful and carts are the best out there. The boxes are all level but were a little thin and dry today with so so many broken and abandoned tees? Most of the rough is just long enough to slow shots down but short enough to see your ball and hit from. The fairways are in excellent condition with some tighter lies nearer the greens. The traps were are well maintained with great sand but ALL needed to be raked (and rakes were present in all traps)! The greens on the Creek were in great shape but slightly slower than usual. The Stonehouse greens still showed some signs of maintenance and were slower yet but held shots and putting lines well. The facility was really busy with the holiday weekend but the pace of play was great. Always recommended!

Greens are in good shape. Very last stages of recovery from aeration, but generally very smooth, soft and quick. Fairways and rough in good shape.

Greens are in good shape. Very last stages of recovery from aeration, but generally very smooth, soft and quick. Fairways and rough in good shape.

Bunkers are in good shape, although the post-COVID crowd has not started to use the rakes and it shows.

If you like teeing off of bare dirt and having an infinite supply of broken tees, you will love it here. Especially the StoneBrokenHouseTee nine where almost every tee box is dirt in the middle. You can get a bit of grass on the edges, but you won't get grass under your feet and under your club. And broken tees as far as the eye can see! Add a few minutes to every tee shot to pick away all the glorious broken tees so that you can stand. In 45 years of golf, never have I see such an effort to provide golfers an endless supply of broken tees.

Still love the old 18, hate the Stonehouse 9. Conditions were better on the Oaks than Stonehouse, but don't worry, there are still plenty of broken tees on the Oaks.

Sunday morning round in about 4.5 hours on the Creek/Oaks nines. The new carts are more comfortable than my truck. The staff is always great with a good sense of humor. The tee boxes were all level with good coverage except the second hole on the Creek which was well beat up and thin. The rough was pretty brutal on the Oaks being 5-6" and damp. It was impossible to locate two wayward shots that ended up in it. Frustrating! The rough on the Creek was still fairly long but much more manageable. The sand traps all have plenty of great sand but most needed to be raked and were damp. The greens were all in really nice shape and slightly slower than I've seen them in the past. The course is probably as lush and green as it has ever been. Great job by the maintenance staff! Always enjoy playing the course.

Drove out to TC Monday morning teeing off about 7:30ish and finished in just over 3 hours on the Oak/Creek nines. Pace of play is sure helped when the 16 year old in your group hits 300 yard drives and can play. The greens were in excellent shape rolling smooth with medium/fast speed. The greens play a bit on the firm side and putting from above the hole can get tricky. The fairways had good coverage with nice cushion. The rough has mostly good coverage with some thin/bare spots. The rough is long enough to affect shots but not overly penal. The tee boxes were decent. Some tee boxes are a little thin of grass. The bunkers have very good sand.

As mentioned in a previous review the new golf carts arrived. Very comfortable seats. The carts have the Shark Experience. The media platform has plenty of bells and whistles including GPS yardages, hole flyovers, music via streaming radio or Bluetooth, real-time sports ticker, live and on-demand sports including PGA TOUR, news and Greg Norman golf tips. I only used the GPS which was very good quality. The staff was very friendly.

Played Creek/Stonehouse on Sunday morning in about four hours. The new golf carts have arrived and are top notch. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The tee boxes were all level with good coverage but a few were very dry and firm. Getting a tee in the ground was dangerous. The rough is a few inches long and is good at slowing down the wild drives but short enough to hit from. The fairways all had great coverage with a few tight lies on a couple holes. The traps were actually being raked by the maintenance crew as we were playing the Oaks nine. The green were excellent with very few balls marks and quick as usual. The quality of the course is very fair for the fees charged. The location of TCGC is always considerably colder than the rest of the valley which can make for some frost delays and chilly early rounds.

Played on a chilly Monday. Course is in great shape except it looked like they had not raked the bunkers in a few days with lots of foot prints in them but always found a good spot to set the ball. Greens fast and true and held shots well, only complaint was a really unfair pin on the par 3 7th hole on the creek, completely unfair spot that made the hole almost unplayable. I guess that's what happens when the greens are really fast and they put a pin on a giant slope.
Anyway, fairways great with great lies all day and the rough was consistent. Fun track and wish I played out here more often. also, not charging holiday rates on Presidents day. smooth check in and good customer service and enjoyed the day. typical covid stuff but the snack bar open and their was a beverage cart out as well. Played Oaks and Creek, so those two nines are great, can't speak to the other nine.

Mid morning Sunday round in around four hours. The staff is great and the new carts are promised by the end of the month. We played the Oaks/Creeek combo and were loving the conditions. The course is hosting The California State Golden Tour and we were joined by a fourth who was playing in the tournament. The tee boxes were all level but a couple of the par 3's were pretty beat up. Most of the rear tees were set as far back as they could be and the pin placements were also set in difficult positions. The fairways had nice coverage with not any bad lies just a few that were a little tight. The rough was its typical few inches and not too penal. The traps were all in great shape with plenty of sand but needing a good raking. The greens on the Oaks nine were somewhat slower than the other two nines but with more noticeable slope. My regular playing partners and myself really enjoy the club and course.

Early morning four hour round on the Creek/Stonehouse nines. The course is such a great place to play. Staff is always great even if the new carts have not arrived yet. Tee boxes are all level with a couple being a bit beat up. The rough is just long enough to stop your poor shots but short enough to hit from. The fairways have great coverage with a tight lie here and there but not many. The traps have dried out and are in nice condition but all need to be raked! The greens were fantastic as before. They are very smooth and quick but hold well struck shots great. The scenery is great throughout the course with only a little freeway noise on the Creek nine. The rates with the players card are very fair and the other inclusions are great! Recommended
