Saturday afternoon Oaks/Creek five hour round on a hot day. Staff is great and practice facilities adequate. We thought it wouldn't be too busy but there were a few groups of young kids in five and six playing some sort of tournament. The tee boxes were all level but dry, thin and littered with broken tees. The rough is still around but thinner and shorter than in previous rounds. The Creek fairways have dried and are thin on a couple holes with cpo but I don't believe that will help much. The traps all have plenty of good sand and rakes but too many flakes do not know how to use them. The greens were all slow and most were peppered with ball marks. Many of the marks were fresh and I was hoping that they weren't from the kids in the tournament. The heat has taken its toll on sections of the course but none any place where your balls should be! Still recommended

I played Creek/StoneHouse. The course is in great shape. Greens are medium to fast, Fairways are in good shape as well. There are some long par 4s, which is great for the long hitters. Great food and drink at the 19th. Play early to beat the heat, but actually has not been half bad this summer.

Sunday morning 4.5 hour round on the Oaks/Creek nines. The warmer weather is starting to show in parts of the course. The tee boxes are all in good shape but a few wear a little worn out with play and littered with broken tees. The rough is not very thick and noticeably shorter than in my previous round with some sections on a few holes starting to brown out. The traps all have plenty of sand but the few I played from had small rocks in them which was something that I have not seen before. Most of the traps had actually been raked but some had not. The fairways are still in really nice condition with no browning anywhere and good lies. Most of the greens were quite a bit slower than ever before? Not sure what the reason was but made for many three putts in our group. Several of the greens had ball marks in need of repair. Probably the same people that leave their broken tees behind and fail to rake the traps! The warmer days have also reduced the number of golfers playing which makes finding a parking spot a lot easier.

Played the Creek/Stonehouse combo on 7/16. Overall, conditions were mediocre. Probably a little overpriced at $100 for a weekend morning round with a cart, or maybe I just have unreasonably high expectations. Everything was fine and playable, just wasn't perfect. Divot damage on some tee boxes and fairways, grass not consistent throughout (some bare spots, etc), and greens were rather slow. The carts were really nice though, and did have GPS, so that was a plus (I suppose that justifies the slightly high price).

As a result, the course itself was nothing to write home about, as the layout was pretty basic...except for Stone House. That nine was a world of difference from the Creek (and the Oaks, from what I've read). Stone House is quite challenging, with lots of hills, elevation change, blind shots, and doglegs. I don't know the slope or course rating offhand, but I would imagine Stone House is significantly harder than the other two nines.

Early morning four hour round on the Creek/Stonehouse nines. Staff is friendly and all business. The tee boxes have improved since my last round and all were in great shape. The rough is still quite thick and was difficult in places to hit from. The fairways all had great green coverage which provided good lies. My only complaint with the fairways were the numerous unfilled divots by the lazy uneducated golfers. The traps have slipped again with some lack of maintenance. They have great sand in all of them but most were wet and starting to grow grass or had tree roots. The greens are in excellent shape and have sped up to almost normal speed. Once again golfer neglect was evident with the ball marks that were left on many of the greens. The course is almost always busy from sun up to dusk, which makes booking a tee time difficult at times. The rates and course conditions are difficult to beat.

Great Facility, Pro Shop Great Service, Range Nice, carts are Amazing with Bluetooth and GPS. Played all 3 Courses today. Only real big complaint I ever have with this place is they NEVER work on bunkers. They do not edge them or rake them. Tee Boxes Average, bare in some spots and plush on others. Fairways were above average. Noticed lately they have been letting the rough grow long in some areas and sides like stonehouse it’s hard not to lose a ball already. Greens were all different today. Oaks was the slowest of them all and Creek were the quickest. POP was Amazing. 5 hrs played 27 holes. Wide open.

Early Saturday afternoon round in about 4.5 hours on a very busy course. We played the Oak/Creek nines which were used for a Golden State Tour tournament this week. The tee boxes were all slightly dry and some pretty thin. The rough is very thick and about twice as tall as the fairway grass. The rough was thick enough to stop your shot but thick enough to make hitting a good shot a challenge. The fairways all have total green thick grass which makes the round so much more enjoyable! The traps all have very good sand but most still need some attention around the edges. The greens had hardly any ball marks with full coverage but rolled slower than I can ever remember. They were holding shot very well but were a little bumpy at times. I was told that they were quickened up for the tournament and were in excellent shape. The rates charged are very reasonable in comparison to other local courses and a bargain compared to those in other So Cal counties. Definitely Recommended.

The resort "feel", without the resort price...(ok, it's kinda a resort...)) Played 4/4/22 (Creek-Oaks 9) with an early 7:20 start; of course there were the early morn dew conditions of the first few holes, but who cared. Most fairways had that wide cross-cut manicured look off the tee; pretty much all being wide & tree lined as well. Greens were mostly large, and had a couple crazy pin placements making a 3 putt fairly realistic. No real elevation changes on these two 9's, but understand the "Stonehouse" 9 provides plenty if that's your desire.
Regards to conditions: Ruff a little thick at times, sand was bountiful the couple times I experienced, greens rolled and held nicely. Plenty of challenges from hole to hole, GPS included on cart gave a good idea of direction & distance, but some fairways had some deep valleys that will surprise the 1st timers.
Played here a couple months back and enjoyed it so much, joined their "Players Club" that provides some nice discounts for multi-round players. This has become my local "go-go" course when buddies are in town.

Second group off on Sunday morning Creek/Stonehouse and finished in just under four hours. The tee boxes are still thin and several were heavily sanded in an attempt to get some base for the grass to grow. The first tee on the Creek was a temporary set left of the large nuisance pine that needs removed or trimmed. The rough is fairly thick now making for more of a challenge if you're in it. The fairways have really come in well and are probably greener than I've ever seen them. Near perfect lies on every hole if you keep it straight. The traps were all pretty wet from the over night rain but have plenty of good sand and rakes. They did however all look a bit shaggy around the edges. The greens were all slower than usual and very bumpy on the Creek nine. The entire course is looking really great and hopefully will continue to improve.
