Played Fri,Sat,Sun 6/30-7/2 as a stay and play package. All you can golf. It was HOT. 95-100 all weekend. Brush fire on friday right in the mountains behind the course, started when we were on Oaks #6(our #15). We watched it grow and grow, until they evacuated the property while we were on 18. Scared we might have to go home early, but they contained the fire. They were saying the fire crept up to the Stonehouse 9. Closed down the I-15. Anyways sat and sun was Golf in Vietnam Experience... as the fire choppers were using the course lakes to contain the fire. Had to wait for choppers to pass or else you would kill the pilot or the jetwash would destroy your shot. All round long. But enough about that...

The course, I found to be very enjoyable... we played the Creek/Oaks combo, as the Stonehouse 9 was closed. The Oaks 9 was very windy, and much more character than the Creek. But it was a fun course. ONly complaint was the tee boxes were not in good shape, but that rarely bothers me. Lovely staff. Lovely restaurant. The lodgings are adequate... they gave us use of a hospitality suite to play poker each night. It was fun weekend, other than the fire.

Played on Saturday 6/10. Our tee time was at 7:04 am, but we arrived about 6:15. The starter let our twosome off without any problems. We played the creek/stonehouse. Course was in great shape. The Creek 9 is pretty wide open, while the stonehouse 9 is narrow with a lot of variations in the topography and many blind shots. Both 9's were equally as challenging. The greens were pretty fast and murder if you are above the hole. First time that I have played here but definately a great course! Will return

Got out at 6:00 am on 6/4 and played Oak and Stonehouse. As others have posted, this is the premier set of 9's to play. As none of us had been out here in years, we opted to play the white tees, which were sufficiently challenging. The course was in fantastic condition. I believe this course is only a slight notch below the Arrowood Course as far as the quality goes for JC Resorts managed courses. The fairways were a bit wet and soggy at 6:00 am, but they were still in very good conditions. The greens were in excellent shape - they rolled true and were very receptive. They were a little slow in the morning, but by 8:30 the dew was off of them and they were sneaky fast.

The Oak course played pretty easy. The Stonehouse 9 is narrower, but it seemed to play a bit shorter. I would highly recommend the course and i expect to play here regularly.

Played 3/26/06, course was in great shape from tee to green, only minor problem is the proximity of the freeway to some holes. Nice course, good service.

J C Golf, you should be ashamed of your self, you will aerated half the green on every hole, and you won’t tell people when they make there starting times or give them a break on the green fees.

Even American Golf will do that much for you.

I am a J C Players Card holder and I don’t like the idea of using my Free Round of Golf (that I paid for) on a course that is not up to your own standards.

I think you should at lest have the decency to tell golfers when they make there starting times and let them decide if they would like to play on half greens, but don’t wait until they get to the course and then tell them after they have driven 40 or 50 miles at $3.00 a gal.

August 13-14 weekend 1 night 2 rounds of golf (Stay & play package) 14persons of our monthly tournament group.
Quiet & clean room along golf course & excellent cuisine offered us Temeku Grill (delicious new york sirloin steak & wine).

Hilly Stonehouse 9 & 2 similar 9 holes of Oaks & Creek.
We played all 3 9 holes combining during 2 days.How's the course layout? Just read the surveyor report. I did that too before my trip. All greens but every 27 greens in excellent conditions. Well receptive fast ,good true rolling even with morning dew on surface of greens. Fairways ;another strength of the course that demonstrate lush & green color rarely you can find out barespots. Talking about tee boxes comes the poor part lamentably.Many tee boxes beated up,uneven & narrow I think should change the position more often.
Now,major work Temecula inn & Golf course MUST DO IS SIGN WORK. You wanna go to room 205 ? Your ownway just find out.
You finished oaks now go to creek?You find out or ask to somebody .Managing golf course with accomodation means they have people from everywhere surely first time visitors.
I just suggest to be everybody happy.
