Played there today because there was no warning on their website that they were doing any maintenance. After paying $110 I was horrified to find out that the greens had just been punched and then sanded a few days ago. It was impossible to try and read a green to put because of all the bumps and sand. How can a course in good faith not notify people that they just did maintenance that had a major impact on play?! NO NOTICE ON THE WEBSITE, NO ONE AT CHECKIN WHEN I PAID MY $110 TO PLAY ADVISED ME and THE START WAS OF NO HELP. I was ripped off today.

Willow Glen is the most challenging of the three courses here. The layout requires you to drive right and left in order to play the doglegged fairways and very straight to play the narrow fairways to avoid being blocked by trees. However, the course is currently under major renovation. Holes 6 thru 9 are closed. A large lake around Hole 4 and 5 is being rebuilt. Both holes are drastically shortened with a temporary green on 4 and temporary tee box on 5. I played with a threesome that lives in the area and they say Singing Hills has done a fantastic job remodeling Oak Glen and is finally finished. That's the course to play right now so if you see discounted rates for Willow Glen, you'll understand why. No time table when the remodeling will be done on this course but I would wait 6 months before playing this course again.

Played Friday 8/12 at noon. Multiple staff members were very rude. Despite buying beer, water, and gatorade directly from the course on a +90degree day, they refused to provide ice on multiple occasions and would not even add a scoop to the coolers built in to the carts. Not only did they refuse, they were indignant I was asking. First time with poor service at this facility.

Course was in great condition for this time of year with really soft greens and mostly lush fairways. Even the rough and OB areas were fairly green. Carts include bluetooth speakers and GPS was accurate to the pin placement (checked against multiple rangefinders). POP was slow hitting 4:50 for the round, expected on a Friday afternoon I guess.

Joined Long4Par today at Singing Hills. First time playing here and I thoroughly enjoyed the course. We played Willow Glen which had a bit of elevation change and some water hazards mixed in throughout the layout. Conditions were solid all around. The greens were excellent all around with moderate amounts of undulations and most having two or three tiers. Greens rolled at a nice medium-fast+ place and held well struck shots. Bunkers were decent enough with a moderate amount of sand in them. Bunker complexes were modest in that the lips were fairly low and easy(ish) to escape from.

Fairways were fairly lush and certainly presented a nice hitting surface. Only a few thin spots throughout the course. Just off the fairway was the rough which was nice and lush and predictable to hit from. Not overly penal, just enough to cause you to think.

Overall, the course conditions were very acceptable and I had no problem paying the weekend rack rate. POP was ok, We had a fivesome in front of us that was slowing things down but still finished in around 4-4:15. Definitely recommend this course as I enjoyed it a ton.

Played 4/30/22 Willow Glen - Greens were coming back, most in very good condition. fairways in good shape. Finished is just under four hours. Ready to play it again.

Do not believe the green no maintenance indicator! We played 9/17 with a group of 16. We were told the greens were punched 3 weeks earlier, but quickly discovered that several had been punched a day or two before we played. The aeration holes were large, and the sand that was there was not smooth at all. I was tempted to rake some of the greens before putting. This handful of greens left a very poor impression, since we were not told about this. The greens that were punched a couple weeks ago were very slow. Clearly they are having troubles maintaining the greens.

Took a 3 day trip down to El Cajon out side San Diego to stay at the Casino Hotel (Sycuan) an play e rounds of golf....Singing Hills Willow Glen and Pine Glen along with Carlton Oaks...a big thumbs down on all three....Carlton Oaks in the worst shape Pete Dye course I have ever seen...Singing Hills, a beautiful setting and driving in looks amazing...NO WAY both courses are like being taken care of by the worst ground crews in California..greens are terrible on Pine Glen and just about ruined on Willow Glen....???? do not waste any time driving down there to play these courses you will be wasting gas...for the locals I hope they can figure out a way to save one of these courses because all three are looking desprate.

Played willow this week and the course is in great shape. Everything from tee to green is lush and very playable. Some of the par 3 tees are a little beat up but that is to be expected. Fairways are lush and green with no brown spots. Traps are in great shape with rakes. Greens are smooth and at a medium to fast pace with very few ball marks.

All in all the course is in great shape. If you stayed away because of summer dry conditions please give it a try. I know the advertised rate is a little high but the course is in good shape and I have never had a problem with pace of play.

Played yesterday, Sunday at 2:04 teetime that my friend arranged on their website, $42 to walk on a Sunday isn't too bad a price. However, conditions with the whole course were definitely lacking, so I feel it wasn't a very good deal. POP was great at 4hrs, we played as a twosome and took our time, never waited on anyone. Covid: no flags on practice green, but holes were cut. masks in proshop and snack bar. wood blocks in the holes on the course. driving range looked open without any problems

Teeboxes were a mixed bag. Some were good and level, but most needed some leveling and had some divot damage. They were about the best part of the course, 4/10.

Fairways were just ok. I never had too many bad lies in the fairway (2 poor lies), but they were a little shaggy, offered little to no roll and were a mixture of grasses, all different colors with some new sod being laid down. 4/10

Bunkers were the best part of the course!! Nice sand and clean. Finally they put some rakes out. 8/10.

Rough was fairly non-existent. It was only about 1inch longer than the fairways, easy to hit from and thin in many areas. 4/10

Greens were deplorable!!! Worst part of the course. They were very soft, so they held shots well. But they were incredibly long and shaggy. Bumpy and loaded with ball marks. Had some dead parts around the perimiters. Temp green on 14, so it plays as a par 3 at 204yds. Automatic 2putt if you find the green, becuase it's just dirt painted green. Total joke. All greens super slow and very dissappointing. 2/10

I love the layout of the course, it's a tough walk, but totally doable, just two hills to really climb. I like the layout of Willow better than Oak, for some reason. But conditions will keep me away for awhile.
