Played 9 before work today. 7:39 tee time, done by 9:20. Course is in better shape than most in SD right now. Not much brown/dormant grass. Greens were fast and receptive! Sank a 50 footer uphill right to lefter!! Will be doing this more often.

Played today 12-26... Fairways green...bunkers were wet from rain but still played nice...The rough is impossible right now. First off, its pga long... and to add to the difficulty, it was wet from rain. I have never seen the rough at Riverwalk so penal. Greens rolled great.

Played yesterday in the snowman scramble. Great tournament - free beer on one of the holes, well organized and ton of fun for all.

Played yesterday in the snowman scramble. Great tournament - free beer on one of the holes, well organized and ton of fun for all.

Happy to report the conditions of this course have dramatically changed for the better. There used to be a lot of bare spots on fairways and divots on the greens but not anymore.

Would return.

Played Dec 1. Paid $65.99, greens were OK (lots of ball marks but rolled pretty true), fairways and rough were in pretty bad shape, lots of bare spots, every fairway produced a different lie. Tee boxes were either overgrown or completely bare. Pace was pretty slow but it was a Saturday. Wouldn't pay more than $40 for the course, has definitely seen better days.

Sunday afternoon 11/18, 52 bucks. The course has seen better days. Greens are nice and quick, but the overall condition of the course leaves a lot to be desired for the green fee.

My playing partner and I agreed we wouldn't pay more than 50 bucks at primetime Sat morning for this course. Unfortunately, you won't get that price.

It typically plays pretty slow, although today we finished in 4 hours. The fairways were very dry, with a lot of grass missing in spots. Tee boxes were ugly.

Usually this course is groomed to perfect during winter, not sure if this is just part of the growing cycle, but d%mn , I was disappointed.

For 50 bucks it was ok, but not good value. Cart girl seemed to be on a permanent break.

Played The Presidion/Mission 9's on Tuesday and the course is in fair shape for Riverwalk. This course usually is in great shape compared to most of the courses in San Diego, especially for the cost and it was in pretty good shape today, my one complaint is the tee boxes are beat up and some are not very level but the greens are in good shape even the half that was aerated this month, but they are getting ready to do the other half next week, so beware. The fairways were in great shape and the bunkers were not bad. Pace of play was great at 3 and 1/2 hours and for 42 bucks it was well worth it.

Played this past Sunday 8-12-12 at 950 as part of a tournament. We got sent out late which is standard for Riverwalk (just an fyi if you're planning a tournament) ... The course: Usually riverwalk is pretty good condition in my opinion although for some reason it appears to be struggling in some spots. Dry areas, thin rough patches (80% rough is good). Greens were nice but you can tell with the high heat they are keeping them more wet than usual as spike marks keep. Still one of the nicer tracks in SD.

First time at this place - Greens were the best I have played in a very long time. Fairways in very good shape also. Staff excellent - challenging layout on many holes. Nice views of Mission Valley as well from several holes on the course. Definitely recommended to others who have wanted to play here.

Played Friday 6/8, on Mission and Friars. Course was in normal good shape. Busy, but no long waits. Greens were hard but slow. Weird combination. Tee boxes were a little uneven on a lot of holes. Course could also add a little sand to some of the bunkers. But overall a fun round. Lush fairways and rough. Good pace of play. Greens rolled true.
