Played Super Twilight on 9/1. Course was very empty. My twosome got through 16 holes in 3 hours. I think we could have finished all 18 in 3 hours flat but some foursome appeared in from my group out of no where and started playing in front of us. Greens were very fast and fairways were firm and fast. Bunkers were hard also. Overall, for super twilight at its price, its a very good deal. Otherwise, I wouldnt pay the prime rate for this course.

Played on August 17th on Presidio/Mission layout. The course is in great condition, Got cart girl on 2nd tee, asked if she'd be around all day (95F+ means lots of gatorade for me). Of course, she replies, never saw her again. Condition was good, we were out just in front of a tournament, holes were cut in tourney placement. Found Mission 9 to be the more memorable, but a hardhat may be warranted, we had 3 or 4 balls come close enough to get our attention on the Mission 9. All in all, enjoyable course, I'd play it again.

Great customer service tee time booked for 8:25 got out at 8:33 saw cart girl 4 times during round, fariways are tight greens smooth and a tad slow. GPS was a nice touch, course was in good condition. Only complaint I thought the course was a little overpiced. Just a golf course in good condition and not one hole makes you say Wow!

We played on a Monday and it was the slowest round of my life. We teed off at 12:30 and finished at 6:30.

As for the condition of the course, the fairways were in above-average condition. The rough was spotty. The greens were very soft and a bit on the slow side. The GPS is nice.

I think the course is overpriced, but the volume of play this course gets suggests otherwise.

Played 7/31 @ 1:00. Pretty winding. Course is in pretty good shape. The greens are SLOW. I just hate putting on slow greens. Anywho, I didn't play bad but I didn't score well either. Fairways and tees in good shape. The clientel at RW includes a lot of HACKERS unfortunately. The only reason I played it was because it was free. Go else where to play a more challenging course. It not worth full price $$$.

Played as a single on 4/3/07. Green were punched. Had a horrific time gaging the speed of the greens. If you don't care about putting & you like slow play this is the course for you.

The pace of play here is usually fairly slow, although our mid-week round last week was relatively quick (for this course). The fairways and rough are in above-average condition. The bunkers are a bit inconsistent and some of them have nearly no sand at all. The greens were medium in speed and a bit bumpy. (Nothing like the putting green, which was in great shape.)

Pretty good rate on golfnow.com - $64 on a Sunday. Wouldn't pay too much more than that for this course, considering the slow pace of play. Pretty good shape, though, especially considering the recent rains. Great greens with lots of tough hole locations on slopes - the course is short, but the greens and hole locations prevent you from going too low. Definitely stay below the hole if you want to avoid 3-putts.

Typical of American Golf, they double book and stack the tee boxes 3 groups deep, and the marshals are 100 yrs old and clueless. If you book a 1pm, prepare to tee off at 1:30 at best, sometimes more.... Continue »

Typical of American Golf, they double book and stack the tee boxes 3 groups deep, and the marshals are 100 yrs old and clueless. If you book a 1pm, prepare to tee off at 1:30 at best, sometimes more. I play there alot bc it is close to my office and they are NEVER even close to on-time... makes for a lot of waiting around and can be very frustrating!
