Played 10/15, 10:20 tee time. Warm fall day, course was in nice shape. A handful of wet areas in fairway, and a few small patches of GUR in out of the way areas, but nothing that impacted play. Fairways and rough generally in nice shape overall. Tee boxes had a few uneven spots and some areas a bit chewed up with divots. Greens were rolling true and looking good after recent aeration. Still a bit sandy, but recovered nicely and weren't overly quick. Pace was fine, got around in 4:40 or so with a stop at the turn. Course is one of the best layouts in the area, with natural areas (red stakes) interspersed between each fairway along every hole. Bring a few extra golf balls. Grass range and great short game practice area as well. Good value and one of my favorite tracks in the area. Worth the visit every time.

Played 2/3 Wed, 7:40 tee time, 3:20 round as a 2 some. Rained previous 2 days pretty good, maybe a 18 hour reprieve before tee time. This is my go to public course when it rains, as it drains phenomenally well. The great majority of the course was mostly dry. A few soft spots in the rough. Fairways completely playable. Greens a little soft, and moderately fast (10 on the stimp). Only a handful of bunkers with standing water. The 1 greenside bunker I was in was perfectly fluffy (plugged). Nice cold morning. Covid: cups were with no lift, so that was annoying after being so used to not having to reach down all the way to the bottom of the cup. Nice round of golf

Second round of my golf weekend with an old Vegas work buddy on Saturday, 11/9/19, at 1050 am on a warm, sunny day with almost no wind. We played with a MeetUp group he belongs to and played Whites in just over 4 hours. Rudyclub’s recent review hits the high points. Greens were punched several weeks ago and had healed well – greens had good coverage and rolled well at medium+ speed.

There is a nice 3-tierd grass driving range with assorted targets. Basic carts, and no GPS, but a yardage book is available, and most fairways have 200/150/100 markers. Plenty of divot mix available, refill rack at the turn, and boxes of mix on the par-3 tees. Recommended for a casual round.

Course is in overall decent shape. fairways had a mostly dormant look, but played fine with mostly good coverage. Mix of green and tan. Greens rolled ok and receptive. Many small sick or old divot spots mixed around the greens, but caused few issues. Only found two traps and both mostly firm. Fun layout in decent shape.

On the way back to the SAC airport, we usually stop to play Teal as we enjoy the layout here. Played 8/18, had a 10:50 time with two other friends. Couldn’t find any online deals so $68 was our fee which is a bit steep for this course but we definitely wanted to play. Very nice guys in the club house and they got us out a few minutes early following a ladies 4 some. I think this course is in really good condition right now. Bermuda fairways were good. Some brown/dead spots but not many. For the most part green with lots of roll out. Bunkers were in good shape with soft sand and could have easily plugged. The tee boxes were a bit shaggy but no big deal. The rough was also shaggy in a lot of areas. Greens were in good shape and rolling nice and smooth however there were many un-repaired ball marks. I repaired at least 2-3 fresh divots in addition to my own on just about every green. Clearly still an ongoing problem as they have a basket of divot tools on the #10 green encouraging golfers to take and use them. Pace of play was a bit slower than usual, about 4:30. The ladies in front us kept up but the group ahead of them did not. I thoroughly enjoy playing here. Nice layout completely enclosed and bordered by large trees through the greens. Pretty scenic really. Right next to the SAC airport, we usually hear the jets but not on this day. Peaceful on this day. They’re scheduled to aerate the greens at the end of this month but definitely recommend and worth a stop.

Third write-up in a row. This one dated 7/28/19. Early out and light winds warm overnight (68) made it mosquito city the first couple holes. First fairway cut tight and most were on the course but some landing areas on others a bit shaggy (grass had seed heads here and there). Greens have numerous ball marks the repaired ones brown but too many everywhere as well as a share of un-repaired ones many areas some holes. The bunkers seemed to be improved from past visits, but I didn't get to try them. My game was poor enough without that extra challenge.

Overall conditions are ok. But the greens are a visual that I didn't like more so than effecting putting. Some what slow pace of play following three other two's. According to the clock it was a good pace just seemed a bit slow waiting for group in front. Didn't quite have opportunity to play through but didn't ask either. 3.5 POP

Customer service great and this day the planes were heard from nearby SAC airport as the runway close by was in full operation through round. Plenty of rabbits in the thicket. Teal is a course that looks like you should be able to score on but for some reason I find a way to play in excess of my potential. Therefore I return and keep trying.
