Played Marshall Canyon on 4 Oct. The tee boxes had numerous divits, the fairways were in fair condition, lots of brown areas, the sand traps were ok, the greens were in good condition. No breakfast until 0700, and is limited. Lunch is also limited. Overall the green fee is reasonable and the course is very secnic and challanging. Needs a little care and it will be in good shape.

Haven't played this course in a couple of months. Played it Wednesday 1 Oct. It is in better condition than the last time I played it. Still some maintenance going on (did not hinder our play) but it looks like the irrigation project is done. The greens are in great shape. Very fast and you have to think about your shot due to the slopes and ocean influence. The fairways are in better shape then in quite awhile. Tee's and bunkers are good. Overall a good day of golf. Still very slow but not as bad as some days. Very hot and limited water on the course, not good. At 1:00 the water station on tee 7, both water buckets, were empty. No beverage cart.

Played Trilogy Golf Club on 27 Sept. 08 for the first time in awhile, a long while. The course is in great shape for late summer. Greens are fast, fairways have a few brown spots but in great condition. Overall a great day of golf. Only concern is the high price for a round of golf on the weekend. Several other equally as good courses in the area are less expensive. For the price and quality course I would expect a quality GPS system in the carts and more water stations on the course. The water in the restroom areas was warm and the weather was hot and humid, ugh! We did find one water station with cold water on the 16th tee. The club house food was very good and priced well.

Played Shadow ridge on 17 and 18 Sept. So the temps were high 104 but the course is in excellent condition for the time of the year and the rates were great! Played in the morning on Tuesday in 4:15 and in the afternoon on wednesday in 3:40. Greens are smooth and medium fast but very undulating. The fairways are in great condition again for the the time of the year. Sand traps were a little rough not as smooth as they should be. The carts do have a simple GPS that shows distance to middle of green which is good but for the quality resort Marriott course I would think they would have quality GPS systems also. Will play it again soon.

Enjoy playing here even with the long drive. The course is definitely worth the green fee.

The course is close to home and worth the green fee. With a little attention it could be greatly improved. The greens were okay, the fairways and tee boxes need attention.

Played the course on Saturday 2 Feb and was very disappointed. I haven't played the course for a couple of months and it is poor condition compaired to the last time I played it. The service was okay but the course was in need of a lot of attention. The tee boxes we either way overgrown or very thin. Hard to get a level spot. The fairways were in poor conditin with a lot of very thin areas with yellow and/or brown areas of sick grass. The sand traps were hard in many spots and only one or sometimes no rakes available. Hard to find yardage markers and a course of this so called high quality should have GPS systems. Even several local city and county courses now have GPS systems. The greens were fast maybe too fast for the high slope of the greens. Very hard to read the speed and direction of the ball. Maybe good for a PGA tournament but not fun for week-end golfers. Overall I believe I will try other courses in the area.

Great Course to play. Got there early on a Saturday and played the course in under four hours. Greens were in great shape, fairways good but sand traps need a little attention. They were a little wet and very hard. Which is good as you can play them like thin rough. A couple of the tee box yardage markers were missing. The pro shop staff told us the hole location for the day was A but in fact it was B, so a little confusion for a couple of holes. This great course should have GPS on the carts or better yardage markers on the fairways. Overall one of the better courses we play. Thanks

Played Anaheim Hills on 30 June and found it in very good condition. The greens were medium/fast and in very good condition as were the fairways. The sand bunkers need some attention and new sand. Always a fun course to play.

Played Hidden Valley on Saturday morning and was disappointed in the current condition of the course. Last time I played Hidden Valley, about 4 months ago, it was in excellent condition. Not sure what is happening here but it needs attention. The greens were in very good condition but slow. The rest of the course if poor. The fairways have several bare spots and lots of divits. The rough is thin with may bare spots. The tee boxes are, well in need of attention. The sand traps are almost bare. Very thin and poor quality. Fairway yardage markers are hard to find. For an upscale premier course Hidden Valley is going dawn hill. The layout is fantistic with great views and challenging course layout. Hope management takes a look at their greens keeper staff.
