Hoping to take advantage of the $18 twilight special; word to the wise, with the days shorter expect groups closer to 1pm (the beginning of twilight) to finish at least 9 holes. We teed off at this time but were only able to play 9 plus an additional 3 more holes before we would lose the light.

Greens very fast. They rolled true but you had to lay up shots and run the ball up. Very hard to throw the ball up and make it stick on these greens. Fairways a little thin but playable. Rough is patchy but also playable. Sand in bunkers good, except for the green-side bunker on 5. That had little or no sand in the bottom of the bunker.

Pace of play horrible. Case in point on 5 we waved up the group behind allowing the group in front of us to at least clear the next hole for us. This was not the case we ended up waiting for this group too. They did manage to get a little distance between us but we soon had that covered by the very next hole. Something about this course causes slow play .. either that or it was just plain busy. Which was also the case here.

Now would I come here again. For sure because of the golf conditions currently. Not for sure if the pace of play continues to be this slow. It felt as if I was starting all over again on each hole.

BTW... congrats for Stanley (a fifth paired with us).... he scored an eagle on Hole 4 (hdcp 1) hole from under a tree with a driver hit from the deck. LOL although no one was there to witness this miracle.. the proof was in the pudding. That ball was in the hole! Big shout out to Davy, Noel and Jeff for coming out to play as well!
