Played this course on a friday 10AM tee time for $47 riding

Overall i really liked this course. Saw the drink lady every 3-4 holes. Pro shop workers were very nice as well.

Rio Hondo is one of the course in L.A. county that is prone to less traffic. It is little bit more $$ for non-residents of downey but their twilight starts earlier than muni courses so it is cheaper ... Continue »

Played the back 9 today. Fairways are typical for this time of the year..dorman/brown. Some of the greens were bumpy..liek the "waffle" comment earlier..but think they're just letting it grown out..s... Continue »

Fairways are brown, with lots of divots, or just plain clumpy. Greens are medium to fast, but very bumpy at times. They kinda look and putt like someone pressed a giant waffle iron over all of them.
