Out this AM. The course played long due to drizzle all round but that was the only bad condition that we faced. Out first so our POP was 2.5H. Tee boxes all fine. Fairways lush but wet so good lies but very little roll out. Traps were damp was in one but it played fine. Greens were being mowed so that helped when chipping/putting but still they were damp so they putted slow. Very little rough outside the fairways which was great given the conditions. Solid customer service from all encountered. Other than a strange weather day in May the golf was great.

Played here today with a 1:24 GolfNow "Hot Deal" for a great price of about $45 after 15% off promo code. Paired with another single and a twosome. We started maybe a couple minutes early and had short waits to hit all day, but total POP was just over 4.5 hours. Blue skies, great temps and the wind kicked up for a stretch in the middle of the round.

Conditions are mixed. I believe the greens start aerification tomorrow, so none of this will matter much. The greens today were medium speed, rather soft, and a little bumpy. They didn't putt very true, but they weren't bad. On many holes, the fringes around the green are in poor condition with about a 50/50 dirt/grass combination. Fairways have mostly good coverage, some a little thinner than others. The rough was maybe about two inches deep and not very penal. I was in one bunker that looked great but it was very firm under a nicely maintained top layer of sand. Gold tee boxes varied wildly throughout the course; some had been punched recently, others were good, and others were poor. For some reason the par-4 7th (pretty much the signature hole) had no gold tee markers out and only one black marker one box down. The golds were out on all the other holes, so that was weird. Overall, I was surprised how dry the course seemed with all the recent rain. It had that typical semi-dormant appearance that Coyote Hills seems to always have, although maybe a little greener than normal.

I enjoy this course and find it quite a challenge. Anytime I can get a good deal I'll take it.

Played this AM. It was cold as the wind chill was making things uncomfortable. The course was dried out with the wind so roll out on the fairways was huge. And of course just the opposite into the wind. But they were all in good shape all round. Not much rough as it has been cut down after all the rain. But you still have many OB areas, small ravines and water to deal with. Traps were clean and playable all round. Tee boxes were all very nice. Greens were firm so care was needed on approach shots. They putted and chipped with nice speed all round. Excellent customer care from pro shop and starter as always. Good day of golf even with the cool temps.

First time back since before Thanksiving last year. Glad to see they haven't raised their prices. Found the course to be in very nice shape, given all the recent weather and many reviews of courses in bad shape at the moment. Tee boxes were all fine and no issues. Fairways were clean, mowed, provided good roll out and lies all round. Rough is not terrible and has been cut to a decent length. Traps were all clean and playable on all 18 holes. Greens were very good and held shots, chipped and putted great all round. Even # 15 which has seen its share of trouble in the last few years is in great shape. Kudos to the maintenance crew at CH. Course is in great shape IMO. Great service in the pro shop and starter shack. I recommend this course at the moment. Price is $69 for Sr and of course with cart but if you want a round of golf that has been put back in shape with all the rain, this is the one.

Played on 1/12 after the rain storms. The course was in good condition and had drained and dried out nicely. No carts on cart path restrictions either. This was my first time playing the course with a friend who had played here a few times and a single who works at the course and plays here once a week. That was helpful as the course has a few blind spots and lots of elevation changes. The greens had to have been rolled and cut as they were nice speed. Overall I really enjoyed the course and will definitely go back. They also have a senior deal that includes a warm up bucket of balls and lunch at the turn or end of your round. Enjoy.

An absolutely beautiful day tp play golf. A little cool in the morning but warmed up quickly. Not a lot to add to Larry's most recent review which was spot on. Greens held nothing, or maybe it's just me? Generally decent lies in the fairways. No bunkers for me today, but they appeared OK.

I like this course, but it has gotten a bit pricey, so I play here far less than I used to. Love the views. Enjoy the layout and the mix of holes. Staff is always great. Just wish it were closer and cheaper

Todays golf was a tale of two cities. Fairways were in good shape and provided good lies, but no roll. Greens were in great shape and putted fast all round (my guess would be about 10)but were hard and did not hold shots very well. Tee boxes all in good shape.Traps were in great shape. In two and able get up/down from both. As always great service from Adam in the shop and Brian the starter.

Played this AM. Cold to start but warmed up nicely and helped dry out the course. CPO only for the first 4 holes and then all was fine. Damp to start but dried out nicely in about 1.5 H. No roll out on fairways until sun came out and then it was great. Many of the rough areas were roped off to keep carts out so local rule free drop in effect. First few holes not possible to play from the bunkers as they were still very damp but later in the round they were fine. Greens were being mowed and that really helped in holding shots, chipping and putting. No issues with any tee boxes. Great customer service from Adam in the shop and Jeff the starter. They have hole 15 repaired and open now. The course seemed to absorb the rain just fine and no doubt that will improve conditions after being totally dried out.
