Played Tues Aug 21at 7:07 good friendly breakfast at 6am, checked in early a got out early. We were a walking 3 some and they put a riding single with us POP was good at 3:30. Course was is good condition, no issues with the tee boxes and the fairways, was in 3 bunkers and no issues either. Greens were very slow, we played "players" last week and IMHO everything about players was just a little better, especially the greens, it was cloudy all morning so the walk was a little easier. Still like both courses here.

Played Wed Jul 25th, had a 652 tee time and got out on time, 4 some walking. Very hot and humid, brought my cool towel. I played the Players last week and actually thought it was in a little better shape as far as fairways and greens. Classic greens must have had more play as there were many repaired ball marks, they rolled ok though. There were a few barer spots in the fairways on classic also, still conditions were good and we will be back. POP was 345 which was a nice pace. I was asked which course I prefer (classic or players) and you know i couldn't choose, I like them both and both are great to walk.

Played Tues Jul 10th, had a 7am time and got out 30 minutes early, if you want to have the course for yourself, between 6am and 7 am both courses are really empty on Tuesdays. We decided to play Orange County instead of the Inland Empire because of the heat so I did the 91 freeway thing Lol. We were a walking 4 some and POP was ok at 350. It was very hot and humid and for some reason we all were spent after 18. The course was very wet, fairways not much roll out and greens a bit slower on the front 9, the sun started to beat us the last few holes and it dried up the greens. I will be back next Tuesday for the Players as we are again thinking about the heat. We are starting to alternate between mile square 2 courses and los serranos 2 courses which gives us some good differences and we walk once a week.

Played Thursday, 6/7 at 3:07pm with 3 others. POP was a very good 4hrs, 10mins with mild waits on the first 5 holes, then waiting only on each par3 the rest of the way.

Played Thursday, 6/7 at 3:07pm with 3 others. POP was a very good 4hrs, 10mins with mild waits on the first 5 holes, then waiting only on each par3 the rest of the way.

Though the course is overall very good condition, the white tee boxes were easily the 'worst' part of the course. Unlevel lies on 7 of 18 holes, with the worst bumpy and mounded areas on the par3s - 5th, 8th and 13th. The par3 15th was level.

Fairways were mostly good, cut a little long, but provided decent roll and lies. Was very happy to see that after 20+ years they have finally made significant progress on the 'new' fairways for the new holes #s 14, 16 and 17. They have clearly added a significant amount of white sand in their efforts to improve the condition of these fairways. 14 is nearly perfect. 16 is at least 75% better coverage in the landing area and 17 is probably 40% better. Glad to see it.

Rough was penal, about 2-3 inches. Was in two greenside bunkers, #8 had white sand and #15 had brown sand. Other than lack of raking in one, the sand in both was good quality and depth.

Greens are totally recovered from their punching and were mostly smooth and firm. Did not hold shots easily, providing 15-30 feet of roll-out for the group on well-struck shots. Putted medium-speed and was tough for all in the group to hole 6 to 10-footers, as the grain / subtle breaks were tough to read. And, I missed a 2-footer that looked straight, but missed by 3 inches! (sigh).

This is a great course to walk, mostly a flat course. Particularly since the cart fees for a single rider is $18. Twilight starts at 1:30pm and Super-twilight at 5:30pm these days, which does provide a decent deal on greens fees when walking.

This changed as it warmed up some, tee boxes and fairways were good, rough was long and penal, once you learned the green speed they rolled nice, good course to walk. I must agree with previous post about being a control freak course, but I have played a few other courses that do things the same way. You just can't let it bother you because that does not get your round off to a good start. Oh PS there was a riding 2 some in front of us, a golfer and a beginner, golfer playing whites and the beginner playing yellow ( and this was a big dude) I must say it was very refreshing to see them playing the correct tees, I commend them.

Teed off Thursday morning at 6:55 and finished in 3.5 hours. The greens are in good condition. They rolled smooth with medium/fast speed and held shots. The fairways had good coverage overall. There were a few thin spots, especially hole 16, but I had good lies during my round. The rough is mostly good with some thin/bare spots. The tee boxes were fair to good mostly due to mild unlevelness. The bunkers were in good condition. I was in a greenside and a fairway bunker. One of the other players in my group also made a comment on how good the bunkers were. The Classic course is fairly straight forward with mild doglegs and tall trees. The staff was friendly.

One issue is I live in Norco and have to get thru the 91 canyon early, it usually takes an hour so to get there by 5:45 for breakfast I leave the uouse at 4:45. The issue I have is I am old, so many bathroom breaks are required, and when I get to the course the outside bathroom is locked and the restaurant isn't open yet, they really need to accommodate "older" people and the need for bathrooms LOL, so the course was is real good shape, tee boxes, fairways were good, traps had good sand ( I got 4 sandies ) and greens rolled real nice, it was hot and the greens picked up speed towards the end of the round, we were a walking 4 some and finished in 3:57 a so so pace as we were held up a little, we usually finish in 3:25

Tee boxes were horrible as they sanded big areas of tee boxes and still put the tees within the sand! Made no sense! Greens were lightly sanded and very small punch holes which made them fast! Pace of play was good. Sand traps were consistent. Wish they would offer some golf deals.

Played Tues April 17th at 7am, check in fast and friendly, no one in front of us so we got out 8 minutes early, this course was closed last week when we played The Players so I wasn't sure what to expect from the greens, I must say they were in much better shape than I expected. The tee boxes were level, fairways nice, rough a little longer and being wet made it penal, bunkers sand was ok, and greens had small holes, a touch of sand you would have to clean the ball, but rolled very well, another week or 2 and they will be real nice, we were a walking 3 some with no one in front of us and a riding 4 some behind us that did not catch us, POP was 326, almost finished too soon for lunch
