Rode the Blues (6556/71.0/126) in slightly less than 4.5H in sunny, fairly calm conditions in the mid 60's. Played a GK Cup match with T8fish, we were paired with Eric and Ron, both very good players.

The tees were mowed nicely with good coverage.

The fairways were semi lush, good coverage, very playable.

The rough also had good coverage and could be penal even though not overly high. Just long enough to make longer clubs challenging.

The traps were just okay. Good quality sand but looked like they could ue a good raking/churning.

The large greens were smooth, firm and putted medium fast. So firm they were few ball marks. Chipping and stopping irons without rollout was a challenge.

Enjoyable and fun course to play, tough w/o being overly punitive. Nice, all grass driving range with good chipping/putting practice area. Drink cart around at least 6 times today. No GPS on the basic carts. The customer service was excellent from all encountered. Course overall is in very nice shape, highly recommended.

Played Saturday 2/8 men's club tourney. Course was in very good shape. Tee boxes were fairly level, fairways were nice with some dormant areas, and a few thin spots, bunkers I was in had couple inches of sand, greens were FAST. Hard and quick, putts were rolling off, some come backers


I believe they already played a qualifier round there, and more are scheduled, not sure if that's true but explains the quick greens. Oh well that's Golf!!!

played yesterday the 5th of Feb. Course is in fantastic shape right now. Tee boxes, fairways bunkers are all in great shape. The greens were hard and fast, really hard to get the ball to check up. As always the "practice facility " is one the best if NOT the best in the Inland Empire. Customer Service was great, all was great. One thing I hate to see is "Players" still disrespecting this great course by Driving their carts onto Par 3's. and Not fixing their Ball Marks on the greens #@#$#. Where ever you live in Southern Cal and have nevered played this fine course, this is definitely a must play.

Played here Fri. 1-31 on a warm clear day with just a little bit of wind at times.
Had a 10:49 tee time and was moved up one slot to 10:40 and played as a threesome. Pace of play was 4:15 and we waited on a few hole behind a foursome who were playing from the blue tees but several of them hit drivers on the par threes. Now in my opinion if you do that you are not playing the correct tees.
The course is in great shape right now. Fairways with great coverage and cut thin so you get good roll out. The only complaint I had with the tee boxes was that some were pretty hard and it was tough to get a tee into.
Rough is about 2" deep and made you work to get out. I was only in a couple of fairway bunkers and they were a little this but very playable.
The greens are quick but held shots well. I saw very few unrepaired ball marks and never had a problem with them. Lots of run off areas around the greens so we had several shots that looked good only to watch them run off the greens.
The check in was smooth and very friendly. We saw the cart 3-4 times during the round and the girl who drives it is really friendly and aware of people hitting. She always waited until you were between shots to drive up.
Overall a great day to play at my favorite track and I will be back soon. Can't beat the midweek senior rate for such a quality track.

Played Goose Creek on 1/24 in a group of 8. Always such a joy driving out to play Goose Creek because you'll very rarely be disappointed in the conditions and this day was no different. Conditions were just short of perfect. For $55, it was an incredible deal.

Love the layout and for a relatively flat course, there are just enough elevation changes to make you think. While the rough is not particularly thick, the grass grabs your club enough to cause issues. The layout of the course is awesome, really top notch.

This day the greens were rolling very fast. I kept finding myself 6 feet by the hole and I'm notorious for leaving putts short to keep in perspective. Couldn't quite fix the issue and paid with one of my worst scores in quite awhile.

But it was a blast and I look forward to my next trip to Goose Creek!!!

Jumped on a 7:25 tee time yesterday when I saw it and I’ve been itching to get back up here. Check in was smooth and got a little bucket to warm up. Great practice area. Giant driving range, a separate chipping green and 2 putting greens.

Teed off right on time and finished a tick over 4 hours. Marshal said the group in front of us was slow which either they made up ground because they were waiting for the group in front of them. I think it was just a full sheet today.

First off these greens were deceptively fast. They certainly did not look like they rolled as fast as they did. It took a few holes to get the speed of the greens down. I think they were rolling just as fast as when they have some of their qualifiers (or poor putting on my part).

Fairways were very good. Nice coverage. If you want to nit pick there are are areas that inconsistent bare/infilled divot but I don’t think anyone in our group had a bad lie all day.

Generally the rough is down but there were some juicy areas. Generally it didn’t impact any club decision for me.

I was in 2 fairway bunkers and they were both pretty thin and firm but I liked that from a fairway bunker. I don’t recall anyone of us in a green side one.

Started off a little chilly but turned out to be a beautiful day. Odd day too because the wind was weird today. 16 and 18 were a cross wind and 17 played downwind. I can’t ever not remember playing into the wind on these holes. Must have been the wind because I birdied 18, still looking for my first par....

On a side note the 15N was shut down thru parts of Corona so I had to take a scenic route which added some time to the commute. Check the construction in the area to see if there are any closures. I swear they have been working on this part of the 15 for 10 years now. From the looks of it I bet it takes another 10 years to complete. Ive said numerous times the goose is always a great test and i lived any closer it be my go to course. Just a solid track, solid conditions, and solid staff.

Very nice facility, all course elements in good shape and get a 7 or higher out of 10. Highly recommend this course for playing in the inland empire. Good value. Cheers, I do not like the cart scorecard...no overhead per-hole diagram showing bunkers and other things of interest. I will either purchase a yardage book, or begin my own for this track.

Played Wed. 1/1 at 7:42 with a couple friends and a single who was paired with us. POP was right at 4 hours with two riders & two walkers. The course is in very good shape, even with the cold mornings. Tees were all level and had good coverage. Fairways were great too. Greens were firm, but smooth and rolled true. I only hit one fairway bunker, but sand was very good. We always enjoy Goose Creek and will be back sometime in 2020.
