Played Friday afternoon (3/18). I was placed with a twosome (Chris & Al), a great pair of guys. POP was 3.5 hours. The tee boxes, bunkers, fairways and greens were in very good shape. This course is in wonderful shape. I got a large bucket of balls, for the range, plenty of room, used the new pitching green and the putting green. We saw the cart girl, Gloria FOUR times, wonderful service and attitude. The Marshall, Kenny, was very friendly and made me feel as if I was his buddy. I gotta tell you, I'm liking this course.

Thursday, I had a tee time of 1:00, $33 plus $6 for the cart. Had a round that was so close to being great. The course is in very good condition, most impressive were the bunkers, the sand was sand, not rocks and gravel. This is quickly becoming "my" golf club. It has great practice facilities, and the staff is friendly and genuinely wants us to have a great experience. Highly recommend!

as a foursome it took us 3 hours 35 min to play this morning and would have been quicker but had to wait on couple of holes. Course in great shape, green and lush, bunkers are thin sand and greens seem to fluctuate between medium speed and fast, no real consistency but they rolled nicely. Get out there and play.

This course and range are my favorite of all the IE courses. Pure as it gets and in my opinion, in better shape than many private clubs in the area. Keep doing your thing GC, doing a great job.

Was able to make it out to goose creek in the afternoon on Tuesday. Arrived at course just after noon. It was a beautiful day, sun shining bright, slight breeze approximately 80 degrees, so I decided to walk the course using my push cart. Twilight walking rate of $33.
Played the whites due to my unfamiliarity of the course, only played here once before, weekend rack rates about $20 outside my normal budget, or I would play here much more than I have.
Tee boxes were lush with no divot issues whatsoever.
Fairways nearly perfect, didn't encounter any hardpan areas.
Rough was as it should be, thick enough to shorten the length on shots, but short enough to easily find your ball.
The two greenside bunkers I found myself in were not perfect, but nice enough to get under ball and make a good play on the ball. The only fairway bunker I was in was rather firm, which was OK because I was about 180 yards out, made it easier to use my 5 iron to reach the green, lol.
Finally, the greens. Just beautiful. Every putt rolled true and held its line, don't remember even one putt jumping offline the entire round. A bit fast, but I adjusted pretty quickly. Very receptive to approach shots. Most importantly, the clientele that frequent this course do very well with fixing divots.
Ample water stations throughout course, which is rather important for the walking golfer, especially when it's a warm day.
Lastly, the cart girl was very diligent in making sure no one had to wait very long before seeing her again.
In summary, as many of you know, Goose Creek is a very well conditioned course, that is an absolute pleasure to play.

Played yesterday with other GK'ers and LA Golf Group. Not much to add to what was already said regarding conditions. The course looked lusher then it played with full coverage but thin/hard winter fairways. We always play as group in January but this year I will be out there in the summer as it softens up as I'm pretty sure based on how it played/looked yesterday it will outstanding in a couple months. Everything about this place caters to the avid golfer and should be a model to which other courses should try to emulate. Great layout, fantastic condition, outstanding practice facilities and unpretentious feeling. I wish I lived closer. Regarding pace, upon driving up to the course the parking lot was packed as well as the practice range it looked like we were in for a long day. However, with the spacing it was under 4 1/2 hours. We waited some but overall the pace was great considering how crowded they were.

I also played here yesterday with the LA Golf Group, and I was in the same group with kviser. Not too much to add to his review of the conditions. Tee boxes good. Fairways a little more green than last time GK was here, but still pretty winter thin with lots of roll-out and tight lies to hit from. Rough much more lush this time. Not cut long, but just grabby enough to make you work for recoveries. Greens firm and rolling at medium speeds by Goose standards. Like Kevin noted, the front of #5 had some damage and the back nine greens played bumpier. I was in a couple sand traps and they were kind of thin. The greenside bunkers are rather deep here and the greens are so tricky, so it's extra tough when there's not enough sand to make a soft escape. All in all, it was another fun day at Goose Creek with a great group of guys. Always an enjoyable course in good shape. It was very windy out there, which added a lot of challenge and entertainment.

Went out a little late; had the 12:15 start time and I think we went out at 12:30. We had three groups as part of the LA Golf Group on Meetup.com; first league event this year. The course is very green with fescue grass everywhere. The tees were level without a lot of divots on the par threes. Fairways and rough were in good shape with only a couple of thin areas. Five green had some Bermuda grass infiltration around the front third of the green and there was some bare areas here, but overall the greens were lush, firm, and putted well (at least the front nine). Back nine greens seemed to have been micro punched recently and you could see the bumpiness affect putts. Great layout with a variety of holes that makes you think about your tee shots and approach shots. I really enjoyed the chipping green near one tee. The practice greens were a bit slower than the greens on the course. Pricy drinks and food is only reheated prepared food. I hear the bloody Mary's are good. $65 to ride on a Saturday afternoon.
