played 1/15 with gk coupon course remains in winter condition even with the recent rain. fairways were brown with dormant grass but lies were acceptable. rough was thin and inconsistent with some bunches of grass so lies would vary. tees were generally good. greens were a little bumpy in places but overall rolled ok. todays pin placements were again on the difficult side as many were set where the break was exaggerated at the hole if you were on the wrong area of the green. there is no rule of thumb(like breaks toward indio or toward the ocean) so they are hard to read at least for me. sand was good most of the time except for #8 front left bunker very thin with hard pan underneath. pop 4 1/2 on a friday once again great customer service

Played today, 1-3-15, with a meet-up group for $39.50. This is another of my favorites. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The carts don’t have GPS but they do have ball and club washers on board. They also have ice chests (but no ice today). The fairways were completely dormant brown, but good thick coverage. The only downside I really found was it was nearly impossible to see the ball against the brown. Sometimes there was a splash of dead grass when the ball landed which did help. The rough was much greener than the fairways, but very uneven. The greens weren’t very pretty looking but were hard and crazy fast. Putting was definitely a challenge today. The bunkers were terrible. They had little to no sand, but some clumps of grass and a few large tree roots. As always, the highlight of this course is the 18th tee box. I just wish photos could really do it justice. I look forward to playing here again when it’s greener.

Played today on the GK voucher, course in winter condition, fairways are brown but set up nice, same way with the rough. Greens were smooth and fast but the bunkers had no sand and some have grass growing in them. Due to the rain they had us using 90 degree rule but not sure why, I have seen this course a lot wetter in the summer than today. Just made for a little longer round but will be going back soon. Merry Christmas all.

4 hr round and we were being chased by 4 lady golfers each in their own cart who played real fast we followed a 5 some also in single carts and were about 1/2 a hole behind and all of this was after a 30 min frost delay staff really knows how to manage the situation and is really golfer friendly
fairways are dormant and a little thin greens look bumpy but rolled well and pretty quick cups were sharply cut so edge putts just wouldnt go down here particularily keep the 3-5 footers inside the cup
bunkers are a little thin in places tees were level good outing

Course plays a lot better than it looks. Fairways are totally browned out but it's just the grass being dormant. Very few bare spots and very playable. NO ROUGH, just more brown stuff. Greens were very bumpy and pretty fast. Sand bunkers are actually dirt bunkers but not too packed down so that you can get a club under the ball. Very few flat holes. Two par 5s play sharply downhill with LOTS of roll and two sharply uphill. The slope ofhese holes and a few other par 4s give you a variance of +/- 50 yards on your drives. On the signature 394 yard par 4 from the Whites, my normal 180 yard drive rolled out to 300 yards due to the 280 foot drop at the teebox and a wind at our backs. My playin partner drove OVER the green. All in all, one of the better Corona courses. Took about 5 1/2 hours - no marshall or drink cart ever showed up. No matter how warm it is when you begin, make sure you have long sleeves in the bag if you plan to finish after 3:30. When the sun goes behind the mountains, the winds kick up and the temperature plunges. Green fee was $41.00 from Teeoff.com

Played here 12/2/15 my first time here and it was a pretty awesome experience. Course layout was pretty awesome, its just a fun course. Every hole is different in its own ways.. challenging in its own ways. the greens coming down hill were quick.. their range was decent, wish they would have had grass instead of matts. Their customer service was great, real nice people working that course. Ate at their restaurant and their waitress was very nice, and their food was great at a real good price. I had an awesome time definitely will be golfing here again.

Played Glen Ivy 11-23. Course was in good shape overall. The tee boxes had been overseeded recently resulting in all tee markers being grouped together either where the white tees or gold tees would normally be found resulting in the course playing under 6000 yards. The fairways were tight with some being more dormant than others, but just because you may see brown, doesn't mean there's no grass - there is! The tee boxes were shaggy due to the fresh overseed, and have yet to be cut. The greens were in great shape and rolled quick, especially if you were above the hole. There were lots of very wet areas both on the tee boxes as well as around the greens - I'm talking wet enough to be considered casual water. Some of the bunkers were pristine, but others looked like rock quarries. But overall, a very nice golf experience, especially using the Greenskeeper.org 2 for $60 coupon (which is good through the end of December).

Played Sun.9-27. Got a rate of $39 on their website. Not bad for weekend morning at prime time.

Tee boxes are a mixed bag some level and lush and some beat up with lots of divots.
I was in two green side bunkers and both were lacking sand.
The fairways were quite nice. Lush with very few dry spots and very nice to hit from.
The greens were the biggest disappointment. Quite a few showed signs of a fungus with blotchy areas that made for inconsistent putts.
After the round I spoke with the bartender and he said the course is in receivership.He said the last owners are in jail! No one is sure what is going to happen here in the near future. I really hope they work things out, would hate to see another course close.
Considering the current state of things it was an enjoyable round. i have always like the layout here and the staff is very professional .
