Played last Thursday, 3/20. Last day of aeration discount, $25, 10:00 start time. Had a blast, greens were in better condition than expected, by the time you read this post, greens should be in very good shape.
Posted on the carts, was their new pace of play policy-
North: 4 hours
South: 4 1/2 hours
If you fall out of position, you will be asked to catch up the first 2 times.
The third time, you will be asked to skip a holes.
The fourth time, you will be given a voucher to come back and play during twilight time and asked to leave.
Our POP was just at 4 hours and we loved it! Was this because of their new policy? or because of aeration?
I hope this works out. I think it is fair, maybe even lenient, yet probably the toughest that I know of in the IE. Good luck guys.

The course is in overall good condition. The greens rolled medium speed but at times were a little bumpy. The fairways were good. The rough was good next to the fairways but can have bare spots beyond that. The tee boxes are decent with some minor unlevel spots. The bunkers were in good condition. The layout is hilly. Most holes have room off the tee. The terrain, bunkers, and slopes of the greens are the challenge of the course. The course has an enjoyable and varied layout. The course has 2 snack shacks that are passed 3 times after holes 6, 12, and 16. There is a cafe/bar in the clubhouse. The staff was friendly.

Played the North course today 2/20, on an 80 degree day- in February! I was pretty happy with the conditions of the course, but with pace of play just getting a bit too long, that took away from the enjoyment.
Greens were lush and smooth, held approach shots and putting lines well at medium-fast speed.
Fairways are in good condition, particularly for this time of year, probably could have been tighter mown, but the ball sit up well.
T's are in good shape, flat, firm and lush, tad long.
Sand traps had fresh sand in them with a good amount of sand.
Rough is the worst part of the course, but still ok.
I applaud them for there effort to reduce grass areas that are out of play, which there are plenty, to waste area with ground coverings, so water can be directed at areas that are in play, especially if playable areas improve.
I had a good time, but the pace kind of killed it for me today, at about 4:45 minutes. It's been pretty slow here since the holidays.

Played 2/15 with a 9:25 tee time. Course was pretty busy. We were on the tail of the 3some in front of us and the round took 5 hours on the dot. Felt sorry for the 2some behind us. Course condition is fair. Biggest downside were the greens. They were rolling at medium speed but were very bumpy, which really bothered me. Tee boxes were level and had moderate damage. They weren't pretty, but there was always grass to hit off of at the par3s. Fairways were mostly lush with some brown areas that were thin but not hard pan. Bunkers were consistent throughout the course but the green side traps could use more sand.

Played on 12/27 with a bowling buddy. We knew it would be slow being Christmas week. We got to the third tee in one hour and 10 minutes. Well, we didn't have much going on that day so we just grinned and bared the pain of "The Wait" Course was in much better shape than is usual for DEC/JAN. Blame it on good luck with the nice sunny weather we have enjoyed in SoCal, specially designed for us golfers. Greens were medium fast, fairways had a lot of green still in them and rough was thin,hard pan. The final 16 holes took 4 1/2 hours.
Im playing here again for our tournament club first tourney of the year tomorrow. Hope it is fun for all.

Played here for the 1st time on a Sunday afternoon and it was well worth the drive. My partner is a big hitter, so he played the blacks, which are just too long for me. Playing the blues provided a nice challenge, but it was not so punishing that it made for a bad day.

There is a lot of room to recover bad shots, but you can't just swing away blindly. Some course management is required because it is long, even from the blues.

The pace of play was good for a Sunday afternoon, and the course was in good shape, with very few areas in need of help. I will be back.

Course is different, all good, greens were d%mn near perfect, scary in places, thick and held shots. Did I say fast? Never before in my 20 years off and on did ya have to worry about a downhill putt here. Now you do. Fairways and everything else was fine, we will return..Soon

First time I've ever been to Los Serranos. I've always been slightly wary of maintenance from the various rumors and reports over the years. But the wife got me a free round for Xmas last year so i thought I might as well give it a crack. What a fool I've been. I was really pleasantly surprised by my whole experience.

The place is old school - which can be good and bad. Bad because it seems a bit run down and you feel very young at 49! Good because it has a very welcoming and sweet feel to it. All the staff I met were great.

I came wanting to play the South course but ended up playing the North after talking to the lady pro who was very helpful and 'on it' in dealing with the frost delay. She suggested I play the North given what I told her about my game and desire from a round. It was a great bit of advice.

The day was cold at first but soon the sun did it's job and it was truly glorious out there.
What I loved was the greens. They were fantastic - true, well maintained and running at about 10-11. Just great fun and great challenge - you really had to feel the putter in your fingers on some of the putts.

The course meanders up a few hills and has some really clever holes. I loved the fact that you could walk the course and really get a sense of it's design as you approached your ball.
No complaints about any aspect of the course - tees great, fairways nice and tight, rough just right and those greens. Just an excellent course. I played the tips at a slope of 134 and around 6700 and it was a really solid test.

I spoke to the starter for a while who was a lovely old chap and he said you can walk the North for $34, then replay on the South for $19. That is a good day out - expecting the South course to be great too - it looked super from what I saw when the holes were adjacent.

I can't wait to try the South course now. Maybe 36...!

Played a twilight round, Sunday 11/24. Was allowed out early, great pace until the last couple of holes, otherwise would have finished in under 4 hours. The North course was in fantastic shape, with only minor issues. The greens were rolling medium-fast and true, but very soft, with many cleat marks. Traps were fair but thin, with some traps having a good amount of fresh sand towards the end. $25 is a great deal. Recommended.
