Was there when the sun came up and finished in under four hours before the winds picked up. The staff is great and the food excellent as well. I was underwhelmed by the clubhouse and parking facility. I guess I expected a resort setting - it was much more like a small country club. That didn't have anything to do with course conditions but I was surprised. The practice facilities were great and in excellent shape. The tee boxes were all pretty level with perfect coverage. The fairways were in nearly perfect shape with the exception being the numerous unfilled divots. The rough was a few inches long and fairly thick. If you found yourself in it you could usually locate your ball and get a good amount of distance from it though. The traps were in excellent shape from fairway to green with plenty of sand. Many of the traps were pretty damp but not so much to affect a shot from them. My playing partners found many of them during the day. The greens were a fairly quick but a little slower than what I expected. A few of them greens were peppered with ball marks and you could also see where the greens had been plugged. The greens all were fairly flat with very little break and putts stayed true when struck. The carts are basic with good gps which is very helpful for those who have not played the course before. There were many forced carry holes on the front and back. The course did not have any extreme elevation changes but many canyons cut through the course by rainfall runoff over the years. I found that the course reminded me of a mix Inland Empire/Palm Springs courses combined. The rates are quite high compared to what I usually pay/play, but not out of place for the Las Vegas area courses. Recommended. Give them your money if you're in the area tourists.

Played TPC Las Vegas today 1/4/19.

Was greated in the parking lot by freindly attendants and they set my bag up on my cart as they directed me into the pro shop. We had a 9:50 tee time and were on the tee box at 9:45 ready to go. The practice facilities here are very nice with a great driving range, large putting green, and a chipping area with a bunker. One bag of practice balls was included.

The tee boxes were in great shape, level and sodded well.

The fairways were in excellent shape, green and lush. Diviots were well maintained and attended to.

The rough was short about an inch and a half. It was not much of a issue to get out of. But overall healthy and well maintained.

The greens were amazing. I love the greens here, they roll so true and are consistant throughout the course. They were on the quick side but not to fast.

The bunkers are plentiful here, but are amazing. The sand is consistant throughout the course. Many Vegas courses have bunkers that get baked out by the sun and are hard and firm. Not here they keep the sand full and soft. I was in them more then I should have been but it was not discouraging.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

It was a great day and the course was fantastic. I recommend a visit when in town.

Fairways looked good but had some divot damage on the shorter holes. Rough was a little tough to hit out of. Bunkers in great shape.
Greens were quite possibly the ugliest greens I have ever putted on but they were semi hard and putted amazingly smooth.
Customer service was great. Saw the cart gal several times

Finally getting around to making this review, but on January 25th I played here with some friends while we were in Vegas for a work convention. Having never played a Vegas course before, I blew off the warnings of a windy day and we teed it up anyways. As windy as it was, the course was still very enjoyable. While we suffered through 30+mph winds throughout the day, we still were able to enjoy the TPC layout and customer service. To gauge the wind, I teed off on 3 with a 5 iron and was 35 yards out from the green.

Tee boxes were in great shape, lush with plenty of grass to play from. Fairways were lush, a real pleasure to hit from. Rough was thick around the greens and less penal elsewhere. Greens had a surprising amount of ball marks that didn't seem to be properly fixed. They were quick though, especially as the wind dried them out throughout the day.

Overall, TPC was a nice course, but aside from the par 3s there weren't many holes that I found extraordinary. I'd play it again, but only if I could find a deal on a tee time.

Played TPC Las Vegas on Friday 8/18/17. I wasn't sure what to expect given that they are closing for overseeding here shortly but I was pleasantly surprised with the current conditions, especially the greens. This was my second time coming back (both in summer time in different years) and I've been impressed with how they keep the speeds of the greens near a 10 on stimp even the 100+ heat. The course itself is a pretty tricky course. There is definietly room to error off the tee (although not a ton) but if you do miss the landing areas you are in big trouble as the desert area is virtually unplayable (larger jagged rocks). The conditions varied from good to great with fairways showing occasional burnt areas but I would say even as high as 80% coverage for lush grass. As I mentioned above, greens were the highlight of the day rolling a medium pace with true rolls. There are some fun par 3's and a couple nice 5's. I wouldn't say its my favorite course ever but I've always walked away really enjoying this place due to the conditions and excellent customer service. I'm coming back to Vegas (for better or for worse) in October and I think I'll be back to see how great this course can be after overseeding.

Wednesday the 28th of June, 7:05-ish shotgun start.
I was surprised about the distance of some green to the next tee- I was thinking this course would be walker friendly in that respect, but we had a cart anyway, it was just a thought. The course is beautiful and it was fun to play.

The greens were lightly sanded with fine sand. It was receptive and were rolling to about 9, it was smooth most of the time not bad. The bunker I was in was okay and with a good prepped sand. The fairways were in good conditions, and the rough wasn't punitive. The teeing grounds were good, too.

The bev girl came around a few times.

I really enjoyed this course and I'll possibly make another time and play here again. I'll give the course and conditions an 8.0

Played here this morning on a GN tee time for $50 riding as a single at 7:20. Paired up with a couple of other nice guys and our threesome was off and running; lots of waiting for the few groups ahead of us, but on 12 we were waved up and blasted through the last of holes. Total POP was about 4 hours. The course is in great condition from tee to green. The greens were fairly fast and ran very true. Putts running away from the hills to the southwest tended to be quicker and there was a little extra break due to this fact (putts break toward the strip). Firm greens did not hold shots unless you could spin it or launch it high and land short. Nice views of the surrounding hills on most holes. Very well conditioned golf course as there were several maintenance personnel on a couple of holes making things perfect. Green sand in cart bottles and we used a bunch of it. The rough was long and sticky; balls could just barely get covered up and wayward shots seemed to just die in it. Every tee box was level and had good coverage without a lot of divots. Bunker sand was well groomed and looked easy to hit from; however, I had some trouble as it was very heavy and dense. Lots of forced carries here, so make sure you don't get negative images in your head because you will have to get over pieces of the desert or arroyos and it could get ugly. Good times today and great customer service. I would like to give it another shot sometime.

I played with the GK group at TPC Las Vegas and had a great time. This course did not play as hard for me a I thought it would. Keeping the ball in play was rewarded for sure. Playing from the whites I was just short of most of the fairway bunkers. The course is in great shape tee to green. The greens did have a lot of ball marks that needed to be repaired by the golfers. I would definitely recommend TPC Las Vegas.

Golf in November in Las Vegas is Fantastic.

Golf in November in Las Vegas is Fantastic.
It could not have been any better than at the TPC Las Vegas. They overseeded the golf course in August/September so, it was in great shape.
The fairways were in fantastic shape, the tee boxes were lush and level. The rough was punishing (2-3 inches thick) but fair. The greens were fast and rolled true. A golfer could not have asked for better scoring conditions.
We were lucky enough to be out on the golf course on a beautiful sunny day with essentially no wind and warm temps.
This course puts you to the test on every shot, which is why the TPC Las Vegas was a long-time host on the PGA Tour.
I highly recommend that you check out the TPC Las Vegas for your next golf outing.
