Played TPC Las Vegas with the GK group. The course was in great shape. Lush and green. The rough was long so you had to think about your next shot! The greens had some interesting breaks but rolled true. In addition the weather was perfect and company great! highly recommend the course.

GK Plays Las Vegas 2016 never would have been a reality had not TPC Las Vegas showed initial great enthusiasm in November 2015 to help get the ball rolling…they continued their enthusiasm a year later on what turned out to be an outstanding golf experience. They did all the extras which included a commemorative 20th anniversary coin, putting clinic and swing analysis. They put our GK logo on markers and created custom scorecards. They provided outstanding service throughout the day. They really made us feel special and appreciated.

November golf weather in Las Vegas can be a bit unpredictable. We however caught to beautiful day with essentially no wind and warm temps. Scoring conditions! – LOL – many of us, me included found out quickly why TPC Las Vegas was a long-time host to the PGA Tour. This course puts you to the test on every shot and especially on the greens. There was never an easy pin placement. The entire course was manicured beautifully. Green and lush. Bunkers, which I found a few, contained quality sand greenside and in the fairways. Tee boxes level, cut tight and lush. Fairways very lush and sickly, not much roll out, sure glad our group played the white tees. Rough sticky and just long enough to make life tough playing from it.

I absolutely loved hole #2, par 3. Hole #3, #5 and the entire back nine was a blast. With mansions lining the holes but adequately away from the course and clubhouse deep in PGA Tour legacy, I felt like I was playing a private country club. In addition, it felt pretty cool play the very course Tiger Woods won his first PGA Tour event. This is one of my favorite golf courses in Las Vegas and I’m looking forward to playing it again.

Played 11-12-16 with Matt, Kevin, and Tim in a GKplays outing. Wow is this course green. Tee boxes were level and lush. Fairways were very lush and green, but a little soft so not much roll out. Rough was 2-3 inches very lush and thick. Was in two greenside bunkers that were well groomed with plenty of soft sand. Greens were in great shape, fast, true and holding shots nicely. Fun layout in great shape.

Played in the GK Plays on Saturday 11/12. I thought this is what the Golfing Experience should be like. Great customer service, outstanding conditions. I only wish I felt better to really enjoy them. I thought this was a great test of golf. Tee Boxes were great, fairways were very lush but a little soft, rough was tough, greens were firm and semi quick but did hold good approach shots and the sand was very good. Great clubhouse and amenities.

Played the GK Plays on 11/12. Being a local, this has been a bucket list course for me and I jumped at playing it for $95, easily beating local rates. Facilities are what I expected of a TPC course, nice driving range, HUGE practice green, and nice bunker area. Excellent restaurant with a nice patio for after the round. Palm Springs like ice/water machines scattered throughout the course (I've never seen these in Vegas).

Conditions were excellent and showed why this time of the year is the best in Vegas golf. Course re-seeding was great, with no thin areas to be found. I went out to the private TPC Summerlin course last week to watch the PGA Tour and this course was in such better shape (visually).

Layout wise, I found the front 9 so much better than back 9 (with the exception of 10, 12, and 18). That stretch once you go under the bridge (11-17) just felt like a different course, with only the Par 3 #12 over the canyon standing out.

Overall, great course with great people, at a great price.

What a great day of golf we enjoyed at TPC Las Vegas with the GK Plays group! Thanks to Johnny for setting this up, all the prize sponsors and TPC Las Vegas for having us out and treating us so well. The facilities here are fantastic and the course was very enjoyable on every level. Our group (Eaglee, sr129, Mattias and I) had a great time, even if our scores didn't particularly reflect it.

As others have already noted, the course was in stellar shape. It is lush, green and beautifully manicured from edge to edge. The only slight flaw is that the fairways were just a bit too soft, so drives were landing and sticking with little-to-no roll-out. The greens were firm and very fast. They are very big and there are some deadly false edges that drove us bonkers more than once. It's definitely a course where local knowledge helps regarding certain tricky pin placements. I was in a couple bunkers and they had adequate sand. I could see others that looked a little firm and my playing partners had some issues in a few of them.

Overall, I really enjoyed this course. There are a few somewhat bland stretches of holes, but then there are a few really neat holes scattered throughout the property that help keep you engaged throughout the round. The setting is scenic. Their regular rates can be expensive, so I'm glad we got a group deal with GK and I was able to finally check this course out.

Played here Sat 11/12/16 for the greens keeper event. All in all TPC Las Vegas is just what you would expect from a TPC course. Great layout, fantastic customer service, and very professionally run. Right from when you step out of the car you are treated like a Pro. As for the course, the views are fantastic. You can see the south end of the strip and amazing views of the mountains. The course plays along side hills ravines and some awesome little canyons. Everything on this course was in great shape except maybe the greens. Greens were extremely firm and fast. It was very challenging to line up a put but maybe thats why I'm not a pro. You really had to be spot on with your shots or you would roll off. Sand traps were fluffy and whit and gave you good opportunity to save the hole if you played a clean shot. All in all I really enjoyed the challenge and layout of the course, i just wish they would tone down the pro level greens for the average golfer, but that's personal preference.

TPC Las Vegas was our destination on Saturday Nov. 12th. I really enjoyed our day! First, right from the start, their staff is definitely customer service goal oriented! From the front bag attendant (whose name I forget, my fault), to Jordan in the Pro Shop, even Matt, the Pro who gave us some pointers understanding using the apex to improve putting. Everybody we came in contact with made sure we were enjoying our visit.

The course itself was in great shape and challenging. Most of the fairways had something to make you stop and think. The rough was challengingly long & lush, but not impossible- just try to stay out of the desert areas! I feel the tees were set up nicely and many of the tees gave a good separation from white to red tees. The greens were also quite interesting, but fun and challenging. I don't think there was flat green out there but the undulations could be read without too much work. After a hole or two, you were able to get the speed close to what you needed. I am looking forward to a return visit to TPC Las Vegas on our next visit to L.V.!

Leg 2 of a Vegas Weekend. Rode the combo tees with my buddies Rick, Pedro and AllanGrant on 11/12/2016. We had the first tee time at 10:50am. POP was around 4 hrs 15 minutes under partly cloudy skies and temps in the mid 70's--perfect golf weather. After talking to some employees of the course and some Gk'ers you learn that this course has a lot of PGA tour history including a regular tour stop for many years up until 2006 and 2 rounds of Tiger's first tour win in 1996. Beautiful driving range, putting green, short game area and clubhouse. Greeted at the bag drop with a smile. Great dinner after the round on a cool patio overlooking the 18th hole. The fairways were super lush, super green and had perfect lies. They were rated a 9.5/10 for me. Worth the pricetag. The rough was very lush, green and sticky. Up to 3 inches in some places. Kept in great shape. Rated 9/10 The tee boxes were in very good shape. Lush mostly all level. Rated 8.5/10. The greens were in great shape. Probably a 11 or so on the stimp. Downhillers very fast. Held shots fairly well. Pure as glass putting. A treat to play on for this golfer. Worth the pricetag as I normally don't see greens this nice. Rated 9/10. Was in 3 bunkers all on number 13--lol--fairway bunker was perfectly raked and in good shape. Greenside bunkers also perfectly raked and semi-firm. Good shape. Rated 8/10. The layout was very interesting. I can see why it was a tour stop. From the combo tees still some forced carries. From the blues can see some more challenges on #3 and #11 from a carry standpoint. Really enjoyed the course--some target shots, risk reward shots, challenging green complexes---just a treat to play for under $100.00--highly recommended.
