Second Friday in a row we played at SC. Greens were lightly sanded but no biggie. Good conditions.

Great course for the money. Greens were awesome. Wonderful staff. $30 to walk.

Great conditions. Greens are perfect! They are finishing up overseeding so it's still cart path only. Fairways have come in very nicely. They lost the election for improvements. It'll be interesting to see the direction ownership takes the course now.

I play here about once every 6 weeks. Have discount card so $27 to walk. Which is about what it's worth. Very rough around the edges. usually the greens are the one good thing about the course, but I will respectfully disagree with previous posts...THE GREENS HAVE NOT HEALED FROM AERATION. The first five greens still had huge pock marks on them from the holes. Rest were ridiculously bumpy. Like driving on the Baghdad highway! I'm gonna stay away until after thanksgiving. Isn't worth even the $27 right now.

Last poster...they overseeded a couple weeks ago...nothing is "wrong" with the fairways that a few more weeks won't cure. give it a few more weeks and it'll be lush. The guys at sjh are serious about course conditions and take care of the course.

I play this course once a year with a click4teetimes 40% coupon. For $60 it's okay. No way would I ever pay $95. No driving range. No water on the course. Customer service was good. Got me right out, and I mean right out, as a walk on, even though they were very busy. Pace of play was good. Marshall was very proactive. They were busy cuz next week the course will be closed for overseeding. So, everyone was squeezin' a last round in.
Fairways were dry so lots of roll; greens were in decent shape (lots of bare areas around the pins); bunkers were immaculate; tee boxes were in good shape. If you wanna play there, I'd wait til December now that they're overseeding.

I'd say this is my home course (have their Creek Card and play it a couple times a month). Hadn't been out since June due to busy summer. The conditions are on par with the heat they've had and the time of year. I'd agree with previous posts that the greens are lacking. They were okay Wednesday, but I've seen them much better. Shocking thing is on many holes there were what looked like ruts from tire tracks on some of the greens. It's a dramatic setting. A good value for the OC at $50 with the discount card.

This was my first time playing Mtn. Meadows. I was pleasantly surprised by the course. Not overly long, but lots of elevation changes and blind shots. You really have to think from the hole back. Greens were in decent shape, as were the fairways. Tee boxes and bunkers weren't so great. Majority of bunkers were very wet with unraked footprints. It'd be nice if they groomed them, but it's a muni. Tee boxes were pretty beat up. Pace of play was great. I'd compare the course to San Juan Hills. It's a deal at $33 with a cart. If you're in decent shape, you could walk it, too. But, it is hilly. I'll definitely go back.

It'd been a while since I'd been to Eagle Glen. Last time there the service was horrible and the conditions not so great. I'd agree now the conditions are very good. Greens were pretty quick; looks like they'd been sanded a few weeks ago. They were in good shape. Fairways in good shape, too. Tee boxes (blacks) were many times very uneven. Pace of play was way too slow for a monday (almost five hours, 9:30 tee time). Only complaint..."cashier" in pro shop was at first professional, then...I made a comment about the constant 9/11 coverage on the tv that day (they had it playing in the pro shop)..."hard to get away from that today," I said. Cashier said, "that's the problem. People getting away from it. We should go over there today and kill a million of those f...ers." Direct quote. I'm sorry, but last thing I, or Troon Golf should want, is their employees ranting about murdering people. Sure, we're all entitled to our opinion, but I don't feel as though an employee handling my transaction should go off on a rant like that. It was offensive and rude. In the bar after work with the guys, fine, but not while you're running my credit card.

No complaints with the course. They have demolished the restaurant and are building a new one. So, #'s 1 and 10 are playing off temp tees at a length of about 240 yards each. Can't hit driver on range cuz they've shortened it as well for the construction. Great customer service. Greens were in good enough shape.

Course is very close to my house, but don't play here much cuz it's tough to get on and the greens are just too hard and full of ball marks. Conditions were fine. No rough to speak of, thin fairways, get lots of roll for sure. Traps were either wet and hard, or nice fluffy. No consistency. Good pace of play. Lots of workers driving around in 'suped up jeep type carts. At times it was like playing on the freeway there was so much cart/maintanence traffic. Also, a group was doing an environmental survey; driving around in carts without any idea of golf etiquette. They have hoses set up with moveable sprinklers on many fairways. Overwatering lots of spots. I'd rather play Tijeras. Also, it was inevitable. They sucked everyone in a few years back when they opened with $55 green fees. Then it went to $58. Well, starting Sept. 4th green fees go up to $65. That's a big jump. Get the creek card at tijeras and you can play a much better conditioned course for $50!

No complaints. Course in good shape. Good pace of play. 8th fairway is now cart path only which is good. they've had problems with hardpan areas in the landing area on that hole so glad they're trying to get some grass to grow, although makes the hole play slow cuz that fairway is WIDE. Bunker sand is getting a little more consistent. Good value for the money.
