Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii! This course is one of the overall best courses I've played at. It starts the moment you pull up to the club house with excellent customer service from all the employees. The club house is top notch for a public course, very clean, and comes with all the ammenities one can want and need. The driving range is complimentary with your round and you hit off of grass (not the usual mat) and it's all set up for you. The course itself is very nice and challenging at times. Comes with many par 5s & 4s and a couple of long par 3s. I would highly recommend trying this course out if you'll be visiting. It's worth the green fee.
Played twilight April 29th. Course is very challenging (I'm a 20 handicap). A lot of elevation changes on tees, fairway undulations, and undulating greens. You have to be accurate and hit fairways because most holes have narrow fairways and trouble to the left and right. Also, bring plenty of balls (I lost 5 during my round of 18). It is very much worth the greens fee and would recommend to anyone.
Played twilight on May 6th. Course was good. Greens were being aerated and made it impossible to putt. Holes 10 and11 had really patchy fairways. Although, the longer holes were in very good condition. Overall, it was worth the money to play the course. One tip - don't get into the trees (trees are very lush and will knock your ball down if you're not accurate with your shots).
This is a pretty decent GC. The tee areas and fairways were fairly lush, but the greens were a little too bumpy. This GC will be a pleasure to play if you consistently hit the ball in the air because there are a couple of water hazards. The customer service was terrible though. Other than that this course is worth the experience if you're nearby.
Played Knollwood last week. It was extremely windy when I played so there were a lot of leaves and debris on the course. The course has a lot of elevation changes and was challenging for me and will probably be for all mid to high handicappers. There are 4 par 5s and many challenging par 4s. It is definitely worth the experience if you haven't played Knollwood... and you can't beat the price. Don't play there on a hot day though.
