As you can see by the rating the course is in excellent condition. Quick greens. Nice collars around the greens and good fairway coverage all the way to the green. Now,the bad, They allowed a group of 7,yes,7! The desk said that they had many calls about it and the group was also spitting sunflower seeds on the greens. They sent out a marshal but it did no good. Come to find out these are buds of the GM and he just lets them do what they want. So in the future just let the desk know you are friends of the GM and mess up the course all you want. Management could care less.

It had been a while since I had been out to Eagle Glen. My buddy booked a 10 AM tee time on Saturday for $100, so I figured it was worth a shot. I remember the layout being awesome here, and that still rings true. They have removed the driving range and are building pickleball courts (WHY!!!!!), but they do have a couple of hitting nets and a small putting green that has way too much slope compared to the course. The starter was very funny and seemed to enjoy his job, but we did tee off 20 minutes late. I knew the POP was going to be bad, and I was not wrong. Total POP 5:15.

As for the conditions, it's a mixed bag right now. The Fairways look almost dormant, but it's far too late in the season for that, so maybe dead? Some patches look like they tried to put down new sod but those were brown as well. I do like tight lies, but there are too many divots and old punch marks in the fairways leading to weird lies. The rough was the same, but just a little longer grass. The Sand trap that I was in was great with nice sand. I did hear from my playing partners that a few were not that great. The Tee boxes were mostly ok, but a few need to be leveled. The highlight of the course is the greens, which ran smoothly and true at a medium pace. They allowed good spin/check on well-hit shots and just played great.

As previously mentioned, the layout is a lot of fun, but they need to put some money into the fairways instead of demolishing the driving range for pickleball courts. At $100, it's not a great value for the conditions; however, the scenic value is there. I would recommend playing with a good deal, but plan with caution due to slow POP and fairway conditions.

Played yesterday and wanted to update course conditions. The greens went through aerification on 3/24-25. They still had visible aerification holes and were a little bumpy, however they rolled fast. Fairways are still hardpan and drives did roll when balls landed. Rough had enough height to hold the ball if you missed the fairways. They are adding new sand to most of the greenside bunkers. Unfortunately POP was close to 5 1/2 hours. Waited on most every hole.

It really could be a nice track, but they just don't put the money and effort into it. For some reason they are always behind on the first tee right from the beginning. My round was over 5 hours. The restaurant is good.

Played a midweek round here with some buddies for a birthday and was looking forward to it as I had not played here in around three years. I always remember how tough this course is as it's target golf pure on the front nine and then eases up a bit until the last three holes get a little crazy again.

First off - big props to the starter as the person who booked our foursome online only actually booked a twosome, but they managed to move things around for us to accommodate all four of us and keep our 10:10am tee time intact. They even made sure we got the online rate so that was truly above and beyond and many thanks for that.

We played from the blue tees and rode as this is most certainly not a walkable course. The elevations and gaps between some of the holes would render this a six-hour round every single time. That did not stop us from having a slow round ourselves though, but that leaned heavily on our group as one of our players was very ... deliberate. One thing I had never seen before though - on the cart display we actually got a POP time warning that said if we received two more we would be asked to leave. I've NEVER seen that before! Luckily we never got another one as we kept better pace with the group in front of us after that.

In terms of conditions, well, the greens are by far the best part of the course. They were slower than they appeared though and I kept missing putts short all day. But the lines were true and the coverage was nice. Held shots well, too. The rest was not as great. Fairways are really thin in a LOT of areas, there's a lot of dirt patches and the rough isn't much better. The cart paths themselves dive into lots of construction zones and there's kind of chaos all around on many parts of the track.

Bunkers were very odd as well as on some of the early holes there was pure, white sand that looked like a country club, but I never landed in any of those. When I did finally find bunkers on the back nine, they were of the more 'rustic' variety meaning thin, dry and with a few too many pebbles for my liking. I don't quite understand the inconsistency but it is what it is. Tee boxes were generally fine with some a little more beat up than others but all level and playable.

We had cart service a few times on a VERY hot day so that was good, and the carts are pretty nice and have everything you need with a decent GPS system. One other thing that was odd that we noticed around the 17th hole was that there were no ball washers on any of the tee boxes? Or did we simply miss them? Some of the routing here is testy but we managed.

I'm not sure I would be in any rush to come back to Eagle Glen as it's a place that is a lot of fun when you're hitting your spots, but very frustrating and even 'gimmicky' when you're not. Conditions are simply not the best overall either, but if they were then it would be a fun challenge again, just not anytime soon I feel.

Save your money. This course is about the condition it was in 4-5 years ago. Very little coverage on the fairways, rough is just big clumps of grass and the cart paths would make for better bunkers. Even with closing your club face you couldn't dig into the bunkers. It says they did maintenance in early April so why is there punch holes on 1/2 the greens?

Played on Fri, Dec 1 in the afternoon. I was extremely disappointed as I used to play Eagle Glen regularly & it used to be a nice course. Now it looks like they let the course go, fairways are terrible, lots of bare spots. Hole #10 tee box is thrashed & looks like it’s been closed for a while. The pace of play is one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. Hole #5 had a 4 group backup!! That’s ridiculous & we did not see a Marshall ever. I do not recommend going here unless something drastic changes in course conditions & pace of play.
