Played 12/24/13 7:30 tee time, the course is playing very well right now. Greens are nice rolling med/fast, Fairways are green but thin with some dormant brown grass. Good roll in fairways and from around greens. Got a $39 rate online, very reasonable compared to the other courses in close proximity. ANYTHING under $40 is good when it includes a cart.

Personally, I don't understand his beef about rates
at this course. $31 is very reasonable compared to
the other courses in close proximity. ANYTHING under
$40 is good when it includes a cart. Walking Goose for
$34 is great!! When I can--I WALK!

Will be going back, I just wish they were more consistent in their pricing. They just are not senior friendly, they charge us $31 which is good but you can get tee time for $31 through web site so it is not a break for seniors so why advertise senior rates?

Played 11/23 6:30am. Course is in good winter condition. Greens are in good shape. Usually they are pock marked like crazy but they are good right now, probably due to getting less play? Not sure but they were moderate speed and pretty smooth. Tees were in ok shape. Fairways/Rough were yellowy/golden in many areas but it's winter. Aside from the color they were just fine. Thin and worn down in some areas, some muddy areas too, but overall course is in good shape. Pace was great, we had a slow player which caused us to let two groups play through. My only complaints are that I wish you could see the flag from the tee on par 3 17th and the blind approach on 7 is always annoying. Nice and friendly service at the turn.

Course is in good shape, lush fairways and greens running true and fast. I play here at least a few times a year and it's in the best shape ive seen so far. Cart girl was selling vodka which I don't remember there being liquor-but I got a great bloody mary. Pace was a bit slow for a Tuesday-4 1/2 hours but none the less I enjoyed it very much! Will definitely be back soon.

Played 2 weeks ago. Booked on golfnow and that day they called me to let me know it was cartpath only and to ask if that was ok. I thought that was awesome considering i was already getting a discount. They still let us drive in the rough but the fairway was off limits cuz they were watering alot. Great value course and the holes are fun. There is no reason to lose a ball because most trouble holes give you miles of bailout room with the rough being thin theres no reason to take an aggressive line. Can get slow on weekends when hackers spend all day looking for their ball (the twosome we got paired with was the worst!) book online and check out donovan daily deals for best rate. We got free jumbo hot dogs and a discout rate. They dont have a range but they have free nets to warm up in.

Played Friday 10/25 with a buddy from high school. We had a 6:52a tee time (2nd out) and paid $37 which included cart and a hot dog and drink. Customer service is kept to a minimum but was great. Check in at the pro shop and get a cart key, load your bags and off to the starter. Drink cart started around 8 and we saw it twice on the back. There is not a driving range, only 4 cages to warm up in. Practice green is by the starter/1st tee. Course has recently been re-seeded and carts were allowed only in the rough. Full cart access was due to start this weekend. Tee boxes were level and relatively damage free. Rough is shot and starting to go dormant. Fairways were good, a little shaggy with a few spots that were thin or bare. Bunkers were outstanding. The sand was damp but fluffy and easy to hit out. Greens were in very good shape. They were soft and receptive and ran at a medium-fast speed. You could tell that they get some unrepaired ball marks through the day. Only complaint was it was really soggy, but it was shortly after the early morning watering. I found Dos Lagos to be a very fun course with a nice variety of holes. The front 9 is routed in and out of a small box canyon and the back 9 works back and forth across the base of the foothills. I love the last 5 holes; an uphill par 5, 2 fun short par 3s, a downhill then uphill par 4, and the closing short par 5 around a lake. Well worth the $37. I would play here a lot.

It had been about four months since I last played here. The greens are not nearly as good as I can rememeber. Lots of unrepaired balls marks EVERYWHERE! Otherwise the course was in decent condition overall. Staff was a always - very accomdating. Enjoy playing here because I can get out early get around in a couple of hours. Plus the cost is reasonable.
