Played Monday 5/5, late afternoon T time.
Greens are still recovering from punching and may be more than a couple of weeks away from healing completely.
Some T's were in bad shape appearance wise, but they were on top of it, as at least two T's had recently been re-sodded. Despite this, I never had a problem finding decent footing to T my ball up.
Fairways were in very good shape, never had a bad lie.
Sand had good quality sand, but was moist at best and muddy in some places, surprising on a warm breezy afternoon.
Layout is fun, pace was 4 hours, I would play it again at the price I paid, but hold off for weeks before paying rack.

Played Dos Lagos last weekend and it was horrible! Pace of Play and Golf Ready aren't a term in the Marshals vocabulary. They sit there and watch people hit 2 to 3 balls on the tee box and not say anything. Your lucky to see them once thru the day. My round was 5 1/2 hours. Tee time was 11:00 due to a early tournement but they finished well ahead of the open tee times. Tghis is the 2nd time in a row. Week before had a early tee time and it still happened.The course itself is in good condition with some of the Par 3 tee boxes being repaired so your hitting very short wedge shots. Stay away unless you want a long day.

Played today 732. tee time. Pace of play was poor because of a foursome directly in front of us in our group of 10. That group needs to be put last ALL the time. It was 4 1/2 hour golf, but our group is fast and could have finished in under 4 hours. We waited EVERY hole for them and the group in front of them was almost 2 holes ahead. NO Marshals... This review is for a course that costs $39, so for the price it was not too bad. The tee boxes were level and looks like new sod was installed on many. The fairways were not bad. Not many divits and even thought the grass was not "green-green" is was decent for this time of year. I had no bad lies in the fairway. The rough was really non existent. just an little longer than the fairway and not manicured. The greens still showed some punch marks. They didn't roll too bad though and no sand on them. The biggest issue I had was that all the tee boxes for the white tees were moved way up. Some of the holes were playing 30 to 70 yards shorter than what was listed on the card. Some of this is because new tee boxes were being install or just being re-sod. I am all for teeing it forward, but some of the holes really played short. Over all for a public course and for the price there were no real complaints. You just have to understand what you are paying for and be happy that you are out there playing golf….. If you complain about this course for this price, then go pay $375 for Trump and you can expect perfection.

The only thing this place needs is some rain as they don't seem to water at all. Went out at 7:30 and course was bone dry and that is the reason the rough is non existance and your ball will run and run and turn a good shot into a bad shot. No rough around the greens so if you miss the first cut by 1" it will run off some.times 30 ft. We followed the mens club and you would not believe the ball marks on the greens. Since they are the first off I have to assume they are the ones no fixing their marks. Pretty sad when the mens club don't take care of their own course. Just bad manners.

Played Saturday 7:16am. I've reviewed this course before, so this is an update. Fairways were really good. Rough is very low and is dormant or yellowish which makes each holes fairways and greens really pop and look well defined which I think helps with aim. Looks great to the eye. Greens are still heavily pockmarked but run pretty smoothly. Many greens, most on the front 9 have bare spots here and there on the fringe with no grass. Hopefully they fix this by spring. Tee boxes are average. Friendly starter. Pace was 4.25.
Would recommend in the mornings.

Last time I played here was in September. The condition of the course has deteriorated considerably since then. Several tee boxes were more bare than grass. Fairways were inconsistent as was the rough. With the drought I know things are tough so I hope that when/if we get some rain, things will return to normal. Otherwise I enjoy this course and the staff was great.

Course is coming around nicely. Fairways are green and ball sits up nice. Rough is dormant but about 2" high and nice to hit out of. Was in 3 bunkers and all had nice deep sand. I gave the service rating as below avg as we had a tee time of 7:40 but did not get out until 8:30 as the mens club goes out and they probably are incapable of knowing how many will show up and because of this the public must wait. They play 3 days a week so by now you would think they knew what they were doing but then again, they run the tee sheet not the general manager. I'll be back and hopefully won't have to wait 50 minutes to tee off.

This course represents a little bit of every type of golf course in the Inland Empire, some holes you have to be able to create shots, while others you get the opportunity to swing away knowing there is a quite a bit forgiveness.

Conditions:
Tee Boxes- Fairly lush to needing some work, some may have needed to actually have been cut while others need a little bit of work, being a little unlevel or a little thin, overall they were in pretty decent shape.

Fairways- Have been over seeded for the winter, there were some areas where the seed just did not take but were not bald, just dormant Bermuda. Fairways were also a bit firm as there is a bit of water restriction to say the least in CA right now. Everything was very playable and in good shape.

Rough- Is currently dormant and not much trouble. The ball sat up well, again with the water issue, everything is a tad firm, but still very playable.

Bunkers- Quite a few looked like they had new sand in them. But my past experiences here were reconfirmed as I know many of the bunkers here are hit and miss. Just like the 2 I were in today, one had quite a few pebbles and was bit hardpan while the other had plenty of soft white sand.

Greens- It looks like they are finally giving up on fighting the poa annua on the greens and letting it take over the bent grass. It's a shame if that is true because the bent grass greens were very pretty. There were a number of greens that were almost all poa and a few that were still a mix. For the most part everything rolled well, there were some issues with unrepaired divots (another common problem here) but for the most part the greens were good.

All in all, I enjoy playing this course a lot. Each nine requires a different style of play and that makes the whole round enjoyable. I will be back

Nothing new on this course except excellent sand in the bunkers. No rough to speak of and mostly tight lies on all the fairways. Fairways were very dry and this is 7 in the morning. If the superintendents of the local courses are expecting mother nature to water the course they will be waiting a long time. Come on guys, turn on the water.
