Played yesterday. Course was busy and we teed off 10 minutes behind booked tee time. Pace picked up after the 3rd hole and did not back up until the 17th. POP was about 4.5 hours.

The North course was aerated about 3 weeks ago. The greens are still bumpy and aeration holes are still visible, but most of the sand has disappeared. Fairways are the nicest I've seen in awhile. Several tee boxes are being re soded and were moved up. Bunkers are still very hard and barely have any sand.
FYI South course is being aerated next week per the pro shop.

The course is in really good conditions right now. The tee boxes are level and firm, but have some hacker divots.I know with a lot new golfers starting to pickup this game...many have not been taught ... Continue »

Fairways are nice and firm and in good condition. The rough is mowed down to an easy hittable length (1"). Bunkers have good quality sand and gives you a good opportunity to get out easy. Greens are rolling med-fast and true. The only thing is, I
Played here Friday, January 21st. POP was really slow, 5 1/2 hours. I know a lot of new golfers are playing now a days but must know not to play Blue, when it takes 3 swings to reach the fairway or 6-7 swings to reach the green... Yes, we all have had to learn at some point move to tee boxes to match your game level.
I do still keep this course on my play list and will return.

Played Friday nov19th at 6:15. We were the 1st group out and there should have been a fog delay, we could see 50 feet, standing behind the hitter you could not even see the ball off the club, 3 of us were playing orange balls which is a must in fog and still could not see them off the club. By the 4th hole we could see the direction so we went from there. I guess the course had so many tee times they decided not to hold us up. The fog was so bad that on hole 10, 2 hours later on a 127 yard par 3 we still could not see the flag. Overall the course was just way too wet, from tee boxes to fairways to greens, way to wet. I was in 6 bunkers and only found decent sand in 1 of they, hard dirt is the norm. I need to talk to my guys about a later tee time now that it is winter and cold.

Played Friday Oct 15th at 702, hit a few balls on the range to warm up, check in fast, got out on time. It has been 4 months since we played the North course, we played the whites, tee boxes were ok, it seems like on fridays the markers are moved back just a bit, hole 11 the tee box was being reseeded so all tees were from the red, fairways were ok with a few wet spots, you get off the fairways and you start to see bare spots, I was in 7 traps and I must say the sand was wet but decent, actually had a fried egg on one shot. The greens were very soft, big ball marks to repair everytime, but rolled nice. POP was 4.07, we tees off behind a 4 some playing from the blues and by the 4th or 5th hole we never waited again, and there was no one behind us. The wind picked up on the last 4 holes and made hole 18 play allot longer.

Played today 6/29 8:46 tee time. POP was 4.2 hrs
Had a good brkfst, plenty crispy bacon with eggs, good coffee. Got out right on time.

Course was in good shape, fairways rolled well, a few dry/bald spots along the edges on some holes. Greens in good shape, med fast, a couple ball marks on a few. Bunkers i was in had no sand and abt 2-3in dirt.

Tee boxes - most if the tee boxes were temporary, all are being rebuilt. All holes were abt 5 yds shorter.

Played Friday Jun 11th at 6.06. Being so early it was a little more crowded than I expected. On fridays the driving range is open this early. Got out on time. It has been 3 months since we have played the North course. Tee boxes were good, fairways were green but being early a little wet, there were some muddy areas, traps were a mix, some really good sand with rakes and some hard pan, and there were many traps with no rakes, greens rolled nice. We played the whites and a few of the tee markers were moved back a little. Our carts were acting up after 9 holes and we called and they brought 2 new carts, they said some of they are acting up and not to "press the petal to the metal" and they work better. Truthfully we had better carts at the less expensive El Prado LOL. POP was 4:20 so starting early we got out before it got hot. That will not be the case on Tue when we play the south.

Played Los Serranos North Course Saturday morning 5/1 at 8am. Check in was simple and waited 5 minutes until they called my name to get my cart. I played with Greg, Jay and Joon all great guys. We played the green tees and off we went. Tee boxes mostly level with very few divot marks most were sanded in. From the very first hole up to the 18th fairways were excellent shape as were all the greens and very few ball marks, I think I repaired maybe 2 all morning. Pace of play was great in just 3 hours 45 minutes. We weren’t pushed or were we waiting on the group in front of us. Sand traps were well maintained because it was probably raked this morning so not too many footprints and there were no rakes yet. Not too much to speak of. I didn’t see a cart girl but there is a snack bar open between 12 North and 6 South. All in all great morning, course in excellent shape right now . Highly recommended.

Played Sat 3/27 with my club. Was off about 30 minutes late at 1040 and POP was a shade over 5 hours, a bit of a tough walk and slog with temps in the high 70s-low 80s for the first time in what feels like forever.

Fairways, rough, and tee boxes are all pretty typical for out here. Average to above average with lots of curiosity in the rough (take your pick between gophers and clover). Fairways were super solid, good kikuyu coverage over most areas. Tee boxes a little beat up on the par 3s but generally fine. Bunkers a muni-level above average.

Greens were bumpy and definitely not yet healed from aeration earlier in the month and still feel at least 2 weeks away from being solid.

Played Tues March 23rd. We were scheduled to play south at 730, but the south was closed, just aearated and greens covered with sand, so they got us out on the north at 750. Check in fast and they know me with out telling my name LOL had to buy the club card as mine expired. POP was 410, the course was in pretty good shape, no issues tee boxes, fairways were green with a few bare spots on the edges by the rough, rough was long enough where you had to hunt for your balls, I was in 7 traps and must say the sand was very playable, not dry but not soaked and packed, damp with a base, greens were punched a few weeks ago and were still a little bumpy, need about 2 more weeks or so. The main practice putting green was punched and sanded, but the small one by the club house was good, maintenance on the driving range but opened later. The were 2 golfers inside eating breakfast, they had about 4 tables inside with the ones outside still there. We will be back next week.
