Got off 1 tee time late
Tees - all markers were on the side so you could tee off the width of the tee box
Fairways - all green, not much run
Rough - first few feet ok, not too penal, get farther off fairway and weeds and bare spots come into play
Traps - the usual for here, always wet heavy sand if much
Greens - very receptive, ball Mark's 18" from ball many times, rolled a little faster than expected, hole 18 had some issues, something was spilled and they are letting it grow out so was slow and bumpy
POP 4:15. Always plugs up first 3 holes but then starts to spread out, still waited every shot

I played here on Thursday, mask are "required", around the pro shop, but once on the course, optional. They are not taking cash, debit or credit card only.
The course was in very good condition. Fairways where lush, yet tightly mowed. The rough was about 1"-3", you can lose your ball, because of the lushnesd, but playable when found. Bunkers (no rakes) seem to be optional to play it or drop. Greens are rolling med-fast and true. POP was about 4+ hours, but I wasn't in a hurry to get home (#stayathome) to watch TV. I'm ready to go back, probably next week.

Played the north this morning at 7:45. The course is doing single rider carts with face masks being worn around the clubhouse at common areas. Range was open, putting green was open. Both courses seemed pretty filled up.

Course looks really nice right now. Fairways are mowed and are in great shape, super nice. Greens are also in very nice shape, smooth, medium-fast speed maybe slightly faster than they look. They did a light sand top dressing this morning but really didn’t affect much. Rough is deep in some spots, patchy in others. Bunkers are horrible mud/dirt. If you can avoid the bunkers, course is in very good shape. Pace of play was right about 4-4:15 which is much better than normal out here.

Played this AM. First out and a 2.5 H POP. Course is in really nice shape. We must have played here last longer than we thought? The water on # 10 and 17 has been removed and I am OK with that. The maintenance crews are busy cleaning up the entire course. We must have found, as well as given a dozen balls, after they cut the rough. Tee boxes were just fine. Fairways clean and never had a bad lie. Damp at first so little roll, but improved as round progressed. Some bunkers are better than others and this is the one area that needs improvement. Greens were great to look at. Held shots well but putted slow all round. While the rough has been cut. They left it about 1" and it is still hard to play from and find your golf ball. Check in smooth and fast. Excellent customer service. I did think that $42 for a Sr rate was a bit high? Course was very busy when we reached 18. Players/carts stacked up on 1, 2, 3 holes. Course (both of them) is getting a lot of play. And it warmed up quickly, so bring plenty of water, etc. to stay hydrated.

Played Los Serranos North Saturday with a 7:02 tee time. Check in the Pro Shop was easy, doors were kept open and the floor was properly spaced for social distance. Masks are required as we all know. Paid, cc only no cash being taken. Check in with the starter was easy and on time. We played the blues and had 4 solo carts. I did see people walking. Course was packed. Tee boxes were good, fairways were plush. Rough was tough on average 2 to 4 inches, there were grass shavings left from a recent cut which made it more difficult so put it back in play and take your medicine. The greens had full coverage and overall rolled good. They were a little slower than normal but still rolled true. Also the few green side bunkers I was in had good sand/coverage as I was able to get up/down w/o problems. Snack shacks were closed so bring your own beverages to stay hydrated in the heat. Overall a very good day although a little slow as we finished in 4 hours and 40 minutes.

Played Tues March 3rd at 710. We play here a lot, in fact have the club card and will buy it again this month on March 23rd when it it up, great deal for $199. We were told the card is not going up but golf fees are going up $2 to $37 senior. At check in they talked about course improvements and particularly the green side bunkers, they are trying to add sand, I made the statement that they must be reading the reviews as the course is in good shape except for the bunkers. We got out on time with no one in front of us. POP was 4 hours and that was bad, all on us. If you hit the fairways you had no issue, but if you missed, the rough / weeds are long and very difficult to find the ball. Tee boxes were a bit hard, I broke 2 unbreakable plastic tees. Fairways good, the green side bunkers did have more sand, kudos so far to the course, the greens were very hard, very small ballmarks to repair and very fast downhill putts.

Played here 2/20 with a 9:10 tee time. Started out overcast and cool but soon warmed up when the sun broke thru and it was a very enjoyable day for golf.

Played here 2/20 with a 9:10 tee time. Started out overcast and cool but soon warmed up when the sun broke thru and it was a very enjoyable day for golf.
Most of the tee boxes were good with the exception of several par 3’s which were pretty beat up.
The fairways were some if the best i've seen this winter. Good coverage and very green healthy grass. Rough was varied some thick and juicy and some very thin and dry.
The greens were very firm and hard to stop everything but a very high well struck shot. Very few ball marks with consistent roll.
The bunkers were the low point of the conditions. None had more than 1/2 of sand/dirt on top of hard pan. Many of them had more gravel than sand.
Pace was right at 4:45 and we waited on most shots. A couple of the par 3’s had three groups backed up. Never saw a marshal all day.
Overall for the $39 senior rate a good value.

Played a best ball tournament yesterday 2/17 . It has been awhile since we have played Los Serranos due to their new pricing structure. The greens are the best I have seen it in awhile. Greens were green rolled tru med/fast and not that much divot damage. The fairways were green and if your ball landed on it they continued to roll. No standing water or muddy spots like the last time we played here.
