Played this course for the first time 8-10 as a walk-up single. Got put out on the back 9, which was OK. Strange quirk about this course, the hardest holes on both 9s are the first ones. Condition was overall pretty good, course is well designed. No yardage book, print out e-yardage before you go. Biggest disappointment was workers mowing/aerating the fairways who wouldn't move for the golfers. It's very distracting to me to try to not hit moving targets, and it would really hack me off if I did hit one of them. Also, they might have mentioned the aeration at check-in. Good value in general. Walked the course in just under 4:00.

Got in a morning round on Thursday, 04 Aug with a little morning fog. Used a 2-for-1 from Red Dot which made the round very cheap! The greens were slotted with some maintenance of dry areas with small punches. But overall, the course was in great shape. Will definitely return.

Short golf course but because of uphill lies plays longer. Great views of the surrounding area.

Played on saturday 2/26. The fairways and greens were in super shape but the condition of the rough ruined the outing. Not only do you get the typical rediculously awkward sidehill glen annie lies when you arent in the fairway, but the rough was easily 5 inches long. It has been raining a good amount, but really, this made any errant tee or approach shot far too penal.

Great day, slow pace as lots of weekend warriors looking for their lost balls. Views are spectacular, plan to spend 5-6 hours here and enjoy the day and the view. Course is in very good shape, on par with anything close by in either SB or Ventura counties. The $60 with cart Saturday rate for "tri-county" residents is a deal considering the neigborhood and the views of the islands. If you have not been here before it's well worth the drivwe from western LA or Ventura county. The course is a little tricked out with a few gimmicky holes, most notably was a super short, severely downhill 300 yd par four. Small green heavily bunkered in front, how can you not take a swing at it? Anyway they have a rock "path" crossing the front of the traps and have it signed as a "Frog Crossing". Where are the frogs crossing to, and who taught the frogs to stay on the path? Anyway, great staff, great facility (Seems to missing a resort type hotel) and great value at $60-enjoy
