OK Could not put. Tried and failed miserably. Played here as part of Western GK Match Play. Could not put. Could not figure out these greens. One thing I noticed, they are very hard, very fast and the slightest leaf, cleat mark can have serious effect on the movement of the ball. Did I mention I couldn't put? Tees were ok some were unlevel but certainly playable. Fairways were OK.. some rain damage from pooling and grass was thin but certainly playable there. Rough was as expect, thick. Sand in bunkers was pretty thin. Fairway bunkers in particular were thin on the sand and heavy on the hard ground, learned that the hard way. Fairway bunkers have plenty of sand and I saw my share of both types in this round. I don't know but this course his my number in spades. Hit the ball OK just could not put enough shots together to make a decent round. Greens were very hard, very fast and very thin. I could see the slightest indentation would have a serious effect on my putting. Hole 13 (par 3) and several holes had some trouble with the greens. They looked patched and I was told they did some repair work on the greens. So in areas its thin and very bumpy. Overall it the weather was nice. Game not so nice. Company great. And of course LngSho played well enough given both our bad rounds LOL. Congrats to LngSho for showing up and kicking my rear to the losers bracket!

Course played quickly. Didn't have to wait. Saw the group behind us occasionally. Overall course is in OK shape. Not great, give a few more weeks of warmer weather for that to change for the better.
